Well, I like our 12% Zlaty Bazant most. I must admit that some of the beers that Bart brought from Belgium to The Players were good.

Drinking a Guinness while posting this.
The majority of Bitters I tried while in the UK were great. Tetley's seemed to be in most pubs and I enjoyed it every chance I got. Ever heard a yank ask the barmaid for a bitter? You probably got a laugh=) Cider, the good stuff is hard to get over here, I have 2 cans of Strongbow in my fridge. I love the stuff! Brad |

Stella 4 and Red Stripe......

Has to be a nice cold pint of cider, something like magners or bulmers, nicest ever was strongbow smooth but they stopped doing it. had some scrumpy once called henry's rocket fuel, that was good stuff, and before anyone who knows me says anything...yes i used to love diamond white and K cider and drink way too much of it. second to cider has to be some of my home made wine, on amount of sugar used in fermentation, last years blackberry should be around 17% and its ready to drink......

Cant get it anymore but one of the best lagers had to be Wrexham lager. Was word of an ex mp reviving it, but I think it used to be made with spring water direct from the grounds of the factory before it got pulled down.

Cant be..al UKs sober or :D...How eva, for a few weeks i had the chance to test Swedens Strongest and most expensive (to buy in store) Sigtuna Ace of spades
Took this text form the www.beersweden.se Word just in is that Sweden’s strongest ever beer, Ace of Spades from Sigtuna Brygghus, will go on sale at the Swedish monopoly on November 15th. At 18.5% ABV this imperial stout is not only the strongest ever beer brewed in Sweden, it will also be the most expensive too, with just 500 bottles hitting the shelves of the three vinkällarbutiker in Stockholm, Malmö and Gothenburg for the asking price of 179 SEK for each 330ml bottle. So if you want to experience Ace of Spades you’ll have to play your cards right (Ed: sorry!) and make sure you place your order at the stroke of 10am on the 15th. Good luck! Most of the regular "drinker" think this one only test Boooz..but nope, not at all...just kaziljons of taste!! |
