Yeah, make sure you change motor and speedo!!!

Setup is for high traction - probably not what you'll need in Italy!

European Championship 1:10 Electric Off-Road 2WD

Booth, J.

nobby 10-07-2008 08:02 AM

most euros titles:

dave spashett 13 in 3 classes (4 world titles)
craig drescher 11 offroad (so close loads of times)
jukka steenari 8 offroad (2 world titles)
neil cragg 7 offroad (1 world title)

apart from jukka i think the uk has been very dominant in most classes over the years apart from 8th onroad & offroad.

Mr Neil Cragg for the double using the new Yokomo

PredaTom 10-07-2008 01:44 PM

mmmm....that's hard to say...
I think the driving style of Lee suits well to the track but... Hupo is really fast too...
Joern will be at the top, but I do not see him fighting for the victory. Ditto for Neil.

And I like to think that perhaps, there will be a MiD44 in A final!!! Go Tonio gooooo!!

millzy 10-07-2008 01:49 PM

Lee told me at the last national that his b44 is really good on dirt, and he has been over on international soil a lot this year so he could do it...but that x5 of Ellis is runnig very well right now.

ben 10-07-2008 01:52 PM

Neil for the win, pidge 2nd and bradders 3rd

Chrislong 10-07-2008 02:08 PM

One thing for sure, its going to be fast and close.

Hope TomC does a doube A final by making top 10 in 4wd too. and I do hope Ellis can bring home the big pot for X-factory.:)

To pick a winner is tough, but its bound to be between Neil, Pidge, Bradders, Hupo purely due to there dirt experience (tracks, not women), and I have got to predict Ellis being el-rapido as nobody can deny how bleedin' quick he is with the X-5 on any track.

dancoog 10-07-2008 02:15 PM

just to let you guys know there is a few spy shots of the new Yokomo on a little french site..

millzy 10-07-2008 02:27 PM

where???? cant see it
:o
doh!!! found it lol

Bathy 10-07-2008 03:31 PM

Let’s face it, the world’s BX looks so much nicer than the new B-MAX4 Yokomo, but then a car doesn’t have to look nice/bling to be a winner, I prove this every national coming last with the best looking car!!

I'd have my work cut out trying to ‘bling’ this new shaft drive B-MAX4 Yoke; it’s got a definitive lack of blue alloy/any alloy on it, however would obviously be a more attractive car as Euro champ on its first outing.

I need to learn to look beyond ‘attractiveness’ it’s ‘personality’ that counts, not just how pretty a car is… or was that something to do with women?

Good luck to all the UK 4wd drivers and thanks Jimmy and Vicky for all your hard work keeping us up-to-date with wot-go-on.

Oh Jimmy… I'm going to be cheeky, can you see if you can get me one of the ‘long’ belt covers shown on the worlds BX, I’ve got a belt cover but these guys seem to have ones that stretch the length of the rear belt… steal me one! ta :)

We just got back to the hotel, a good day trackside!!!!

Ellis was quick today, but had a few issues with his car, Neil also looked very fast, and had a few different shells or cars, couldnt tell, Moss was fast and Grant was quick for his first time out with the new cat.

There were many other fast guys, but didnt watch them all.

It was very hot today, I mean hot!!!! Hope the weather is ok back there:thumbsup:
