Really good weekend:woot: Dont think ive ever laughed that much on and off the rostrum! The last man standing race saw the torches strapped to the cars go flat long before the lipos! Cant wait for the next one now:thumbsup:
Thanks to all who organised and turned up but IMO a very big fwanks to the Axeman for keeping it all running from race controll(again) Good man.. Hip Hip:p

What an amazing weekend, thanks everyone for a top weekend

dorris 18-07-2010 07:27 PM

I could only make the Sunday but had a grand time despite the rain....

Even surprised myself how well the truck ran....:woot: (...and my driving as I've never been that good and I'm well out of practice).

Any chance you could sacrifice a virgin or something for a dry day next time.

One thing that did become apparent..... 'Gortex' is a lie!!!

Jamie.T 18-07-2010 08:27 PM

1 word, AWESOME. Thanks to Mike who's idea this whole weekend was, and also a big thank you to Axeman for running race control, and all round entertainment.

Track was brilliant, and the racing even better. Maybe next time ill run a p.t in my car.lol.

Cant wait for the next meeting.

Jamie..........

Yeah just to echo what Jamie said; it was a cracking weekend all round.

Great laugh, superb track and some good racing.

Yes thanks to all of you for comming!!! Night racing!!!!! best thing ever 17 cars with torches tapped to them and glow sticks strapped around them!!!

I must admit I have blur from 12ish till 4am, now I'm starting to have flash backs now!!! Oh dear!!!!:cry:

Thanks again!!!:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

blue_pinky 19-07-2010 08:58 AM

Can I put my name down for next year? 2wd, 4wd, and last man standing!!!

Wish I'd been able to hang around for Sunday, but still had awesome fun on Saturday....I am off to draw up a new B44 front shock tower though...seems I'm even too much of an animal for the atomic carbon ones

Thanks to Mike for setting it up, Axeman for keeping it running, and Talywain club for lending us there place

Absolute quality

Balders 19-07-2010 03:02 PM

Was cracking!

Thanks for all who made the trip down to came and have a race, I hope you really did enjoy it. It went well as far as I could tell so will be definitely looking to try and make a yearly event out of it.

A few special mentions I think need to be aired in public:

Axeman - for being the computer bitch for the weekend and sorting out the heats and the racing, you did a great job and I thank you for this!

the Taly Cafe - for providing the best start to a sunday morning any man can ask for with a hangover... :)

Pop's - for driving Carl's Mrs home because she was cold.

Carl's (Snake) tent - purely for the comedy size of it...

Carl again - for bringing the flood light to aide in the night race.

Rob West - I'm only saying one thing, 'through the Keyhole'

There were lots more shenanigans and I'm sure they will all come to light over the next few weeks like who pulled all the tent pegs out of as many tents as he could find... I'm not mentioning any names Carl... ;)

Maybe next year make it into a welsh trophy meeting with more fun and games thrown in to make the weekend even more fun!

Thank again to all that came up, will catch you all at the WRCA in Caldicot next weekend!

Cheers

Mike
