Nothing wrong with the "O" ring style mounts. Save wings :thumbsup: Maybe nortech can do some super ace "O" rings for the wing mounts :thumbsup:

I think I will just epoxy the mount together then so I can just screw in with no problem. Had over 14 years torture with the mount and can't face anymore :lol:

Yeah, that is an option for sure - could manage without the bands and just glue the mount to the part that usually holds the bands.

Try using the "crashback bands" from the old Bosscat instead, one thick band instead of several thinner ones, works a treat, nice and firm mounting and even if the band snaps it is soooo tight in the holder that it still holds the wing on with one half of the loop, so to speak,

Part number is U725Y - Crashback bands

Just built mine today (Lipo), and all I can say is WOW! I am really impressed with the quality and assembly of this thing, can't wait to use it in anger!

I have a new favourite shock, these are 10 times easier than Losi, and im astounded. :thumbsup:
