V4 shell back from the painters, decided to go retro to match the short course.

Nice.
Plenty of white to leave some tyre marks on :)

Yup, I could do with a couple or three of those! Nice fan/fan cover too.

Yeah, try r2hobbies.com... cheap chinese aluminium but for the bling that's ok!

Oh, as an aside, a couple of those nuts on the steering assembly are fitted incorrectly. They need to be upside down so you can get a tool on them. (You can get a tool on them right way up, but it's a pain in the arris)

I'm not sure of what you mean, I can use a 5.5mm tube tool on them, no problem as they are not Durango's, they are thicker...

mattr 14-01-2014 04:03 PM

I actually double checked, you can get the nuts on and off, but the lower face of the nut makes the bearing bind..........

Fitted the electrics in mine today, Skyrc 8.5 combo. Just need a servo for it now. Last 410 I had was the original full fat version. Quite a good install by my standards

DangerCow 22-01-2014 05:49 PM

All wired up, going to take it out tomorrow! Sorry again for the huge photos, I really need to figure out how to scale them down...

JC's cab forward body on my DEX410v3 was all worn out so I decided to paint original Kuhler with simple stripe. Kuhler design just looks so wrong these days.

btw. I'm pretty proud of my awesome setup board from Vampire Racing.

maybe when the RTR body shell is knackered enough, I'll spray my own and make it more unique but it'll do for now :D
