does it use 2 extra screw (outer holes on ethier side of chassis) to hold the brace to chassis when you remove the gearbox? Do you have one without "weight" added?

Hi,
No it doesn't use the extra holes. The reason for this is that it uses the original shims and with the two outer holes being unsupported it runs the risk of either twisting the chassis or the screws coming loose.

Mmm fair enough about chassis twisting, but what if you put washers + screw to suit, afterward you fitted those 2 screw into gearbox first ?

Im looking for a brace that does hold the suspesion in place, when i remove the gearbox, its no fun looking for bits in grass/carpet.

Hi im just trying to get to grips with the cream wieght and anti squat im wondering
whitch plastic shim is the one to use the flat one?

Or the one with the tubular protursions ?

I want to get the most out if this kit so im keen to hear how others have found the best effect can be gained
(for them on what style of track and surface)
i think it could be good to compile as i have not seen the wieght included in any tlr set up sheets i have read unless i have missed somthing some where....

Cheers

The ones with the tubular protrusions go inside the slot of the weight, the thin shims go under the weight, Just a per the original brace.

Yeah,
Follow the instructions in your Losi 22 manual. The offsets are no different to the original part.

If you have lost your manual you can down load it from here

V2.0 now available....

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...pse5936220.jpg

Added m2 retaining hole and milled step to rear to clear higher rear gearbox step up.

They have slimmed down a little on weight due to the extra machining, and now weigh in at just over 40g. ( -2g over original version)

Part is backwards compatible with the original Losi 22.

Price will be held at £20.00

I'll update the first post with the above information....
