lil ben |
i treid GRP tyres in the practise and it wasnt too bad really lol.
after getting some fresh brushes in it felt ayce. the set up i run on the BJ4 i just got was good considering i didnt touch nothing felt really well, in round 3/4 it was going ace until sombody took me out and ruined my sure to be fastest time of the day :o SCUM ! lol the B44s didnt look bad. shame they arent stronger on that rear ball stud joint at the back of the car :D |
Had a great day, always enjoy this venue..thanks to stu for the camera tips but i think i over did it with the ISO :(

Yours just needs to be a bit fatter and with some AE shocks on it and it would be ace:D There were quite a few BJ4 sports there today, they seem very friendly they seem to wave the inside front wheels whenever they go round a corner |
great days racing...some how i managed to get B10 in qualifying...shame the guy with the computer didn't realise my transponder wasn't counting:rolleyes:
ahh well, great day, cheers Teesside club! (and thanks Lee for the help on my BJ4 :D) |
Nah you need to be laid on the track showing full commitment lol

You'll not take any better pic indoors with a lower ISO. They will go a bit grainy and noisy but that just the way it is. |
224 photos and about 3 or 4 worth keeping :D
|
sombody is guilty of getting some Losi parts from Pete from Castle Models and not paying, which i thought was harsh
some xx4 front arms and some other xx4 part too |

YES i was asked about that aswell NOT IMPRESSED. NOT ONE BIT. OWN UP.:mad::mad::yawn::yawn::yawn::mad::o:o
My lil rant over |

doesnt take 5 seconds to go see pete and pay, nor does it take long for word to pass round the track or for sombody to overhear what has been said lol ben slow is fast ! |
yeh exactly it was fast haha
|
im lost ben ! lol
it looked an arse at slow speed mate, what sort of set up was you running ? Tesco trolly ? ASDA trolly ? Morrisions trolly ? lol :) :p looked sooooooo much better at batley |
i was going to beat him up and nick his hoody but he give me the evils so i legged it :p
|
ahh right were on about 4wd i had a mare of a day in 4wd just couldnt get the car running properly at all. Rich lowe, tom cockerill and richard isherwood stayed after the meeting to have a go with my car and it was just about undriveable even with them driving so not a happy chappy :D
lil ben |
Have you checked everything after the shunt in the final at batley, full pelt into the side of your car on the batley straight is a big one. Just a thought.
|
I rebuilt Ben's car this week and replaced a broken front STEEL diff and bent hinge pins :o:o
We'll work with him on it, I think it needs a set-up tweak or two and the savageness taking out of the power delivery and it'll be sorted. G |
Probably foolishly I’ve agreed to lend Ben an L motor for York regional to try and smooth out the power delivery.
Did you have old tyres on Ben? I’m convinced now that that’s why mine was so bad on mini pins yesterday as I was running tyres from last year (at least) and think they might have hardened or something. |
Yes the tyres were old but the other problem i am having with the car is the front losi wheel hexes stripping:mad::mad:. And it basically does a set each meeting which is rather annoying.:yawn:
lil ben |
When I was looking at the results printouts yesterday I noticed that my BRCA number was down wrong, as 72 instead of 15.
It is correct on the brca-northeast site. Will this cause some problems? David Allen |
Don't see why it should Dave, just mail Northy and ask him to update the database.
Thanks to Teesside, I think that was the best track I've ran on there, really enjoyed the day!! |
Well done teesside on running the meeting smoothly. The track was very good. A good mix of slipply floor and carpet/astro. :D:D:D:):):)
lil ben |
The meeting was ace and there was a lot of quick drivers at the sharp end which can only be good!!
Ben, get a B44 front hex, they are thicker, also JC wheels have a deeper hex;) The only thing i will say about going to teesside is its amazing how much of a local knowledge track it is. Which doesn`t really bother me as the drivers have been quick enough to put the car in the A but, it seems they get over excited and its their "FA cup final" and just decide to drive through people who will be competing in all of the series:rolleyes: Apart from that it was a good day for me |
Yeh think thats wot im doing lee. Are the jconcepts wheels available in white yet. Just i dont really want yellow lol. Also are the b44 wheels deeper on the hex? compared to a losi wheel.
lil ben |
I think they probably will be ben, and yes the JC wheels come in white Spokes!!!
Its the future!! |
I told lil ben to use the B44 hex's etc last night. It's a plan Ben, I'll sort it for ya ;)
G |
cheers dude.
|
Was a great track, just my luck was awful. Got 11th in the first round then everything just went arse up!!
Belt snapped and wrecked pretty much everything then after a full rebuild the belt decided to just flick itself off the roller before the first corner. Apologies to anyone i hit entering the first corner in the 4wd C final!!! had no brakes and no drive! |
What car were you running?
lil ben |
I was running the X5, started tenth.
