Mardave racing

Hi all in an effort to promote the Mardaves on the tarmac track any one who races a Mardave on Sunday can race for free, for the Mardave class only.
Look forward to seeing lots there, we need minimum of 5 to make up a heat.

birdy b4 27-09-2009 09:32 AM

paulsmith 28-09-2009 10:43 PM

Is there a meeting this Sunday?

I have something new to try ;)

TDFTW!

Darrane 28-09-2009 10:43 PM

What a great laugh on Sunday we had 10 tourers and 14 buggys but the highlight had to be Roberts 12 minute race, because we did the qualifying over fastest lap and the finals over a set amount of laps the problem is when everyone breaks down or pulls out apart from our Robert you get 12 minute races:lol:.
So with some races slightly going over we ran on a bit so we had to run under floodlights which turned out to be great fun.
On the mardave front we run a couple around the track and they seem to run fine we need to try and get this class up and running we need a starter/budget class for those who do not have a strong budget or for those who just do not want to spend anything (Carl)so if you bring a dave up you can run for FREE.
NEXT MEETING 4TH OCTOBER

we are also trying to promote Mardave's so if you bring a Mardave you can race for FREE (Mardave class only).
With a bit of luck there maybe some Durango's running on Sunday would be nice to see them going around see how they handle the Leverton track as i know there are a lot of people interested in that model.
There are some changes planned for the track for next season with extra jumps and more track we will keep you posted.

Hi ive just got the g2 in mine to see how it goes, kept the diff in aswell.

Darrane 03-10-2009 08:12 PM

No do tin can as if thers is not enough we can always make a heat up with the touring tin can
We will also be running under floodlights tommorow as we will have two qualiys on fastest lap and three finals plus the trophie presentation so could be a long meeting.
As for the Mardaves i was very impressed with them on the track would be great to get a good heat up
So we will start at 3pm Sharp;) so hope to see a few there tommorow Thanks Darran
WE ALSO HAVE EXTRA LIGHTS FOR TOMMOROW IN THE OFF ROAD EXTENSION SO SHOULD HELP

LAST OUTDOOR

Ok its the last outdoor of the season on Sunday the weather looks dry so should not be an issue with rain.

We will be running Touring, Mardave & of course 1/10th buggies we will start for 7.30pm and finish around 10.30pm wewill try to run two championships but this will depend on numbers.
Anyway hope to see a few out on Sunday for the last outdoor meeting
Thanks Darran.

Good Hustle 16-10-2009 09:17 PM

Excellent. Thought we were indoors this sunday. Its great fun indoors too, but when you have a track like that outside! You cant say no!

Darrane 17-10-2009 08:24 AM

Thanks for those comments and with the planned changes for next year should be even better, we will be putting in for a regional we are extending the track and getting rid of as much tarmac as possible for club meets. For regionals all of the tarmac will be covered we are planning a few more jumps and features, so next season should be good we also intend to improve the tarmac track resurfacing some areas and a general tidy up.
hope to see you all tommorow Thanks Darran
