The rear plate is KF the front plate and Spring is KF2 as apparently the KF springs not up to the job.

Peakey 08-11-2015 05:18 PM

Ran both the XLS and the Procat today they both went well I just snapped a uj mount on the rear so got the Procat out.

After having to change the motor the 6.5t that was in didn't sound very healthy so the only one I had to hand was the 5.5t so needs must
Apart from the lack of grip due to it being very wet astro and it being massively over powered it went well till I had what I think was a RX issue.

The slipper held up to what I could throw at it so I just now need to find somone to make some up at the right price and they will hopefull be available for everyone.

I know they have, I had a problem with my photobucket and lost a load of pics

Don't tell the Mrs 28-06-2016 07:43 PM

Did you find anybody who could make the slipper shaft at a reasonable price?

Peakey 28-06-2016 08:31 PM

I've had some made but it wasn't the cheapest and he gave up before finishing the lot off but I'm working on it still.

Welshy40 03-07-2016 11:05 AM

Nice!

Anyone know if the inner transmission housing on this can be used on a bosscat?

Retro RC 03-07-2016 06:19 PM

You might be able to if you pack it up off the chassis as the belt on the procat runs under the chassis and the bosscat on top

Peakey 03-07-2016 07:06 PM

Dosen't the Bosscat come with a transmission spacer for that reason? If they do then I would say yes.

Danf1275 03-07-2016 07:47 PM

They do indeed

Welshy40 04-07-2016 03:05 PM

Ace, cheers guys

Did you smash it up racing?

Peakey 06-01-2017 05:30 PM

No I took it to bits after I tested the slipper and it's just sat in a box in the garage

Welshy40 06-01-2017 08:35 PM

Well when rebuilding it if you come across a spare alloy layshaft bearing holder let me know.

Nice ,in my opinion the Procat was the best 4wd of that era and made other manufactures up they're game to compete on the same level ,the procat was the king until yoko brought out the super dog fighter

Pull yah finger out then as I love a procat:D what shocks are you using ?
