Nice cars, are you using the low profile cut staggers and are you having to stretch them across the wider rim and do you have to trim the bead on the tyre?

Nah, just cut the rims down...

Never trimmed the bead, they fit perfectly

Now, that is a class photograph! And two class cars!

Did you take the picture? If you did then you are most likely a professional photographer, or an extremely competent amateur!

Good job!

Nice.

Slicks are you running on carpet?

Yes it's the only tyre we are allowed to use indoors. We share the track with TCs

Looking awesome!

What is the reason why XB4-4wd's come with shock tower braces front & rear but the XB4-2wd's only come with a front shock tower brace?

I think my 2014 4WD also only came with the front one

For those which are fed up with heavy chassis, give a chance to this configuration:

Excellent Olivier!

Can you give us a step-by-step guide as to how to do this mod?

I guess you need a new top plate?

You need a blog... :D

Same handling but a bit less power.
Which for many actually would mean they are able to control it

Best comparison would be a Short Course with way better handling :)

Have a short video clip on Malin's Facebook page of the very first test for those interested……

Here is my XB4 2016 - almost finished, just waiting for the servo mount to arrive in the post then I am ready for some Team Xbox! Credit to Terry Atkinson for the awesome paint job

I decided on a 7.5T motor in this car - my '15 has a 5.5T in it. The 7.5 is geared with a 22t pinion with stock spur and the 5.5T a 18t pinion.

Here's my xb2. It's my first kit build. Went together pretty well, just had issues with shock bleed screws ( every one of them has rounded off before they were fully in)
Ran it tonight at Seaham and all I can say is wow! Used to run a Durango ( which was great while I learnt how to drive) but this felt so much more responsive and I had confidence in it instantly! Had my best ever results and made back end of B final for first time. Had comments about how the car made me look a good driver, which I'll take lol. Very nice bit of kit xray!
