Think we all have to thank Chris Patterson, Bill and Simon Walton for putting the time and effort to get this venue for the regional, with outh them it wouldnt of happened, also to thank those who were there sat afternoon and sunday evening.

Was a great track and weekend

Chrislong 11-02-2008 07:36 PM

Track was great, my only slight critism is having the matts after the straight complicates starts of finals. And having the bot-dots under the red carpet - makes that part of the track random.... personal preference to me though.

I reckon you guys have a great crew going supporting the club, and a great venue. How about arranging a major event once per winter there? As people like me are unlikely to go again until the next regional, but a 2+ day event there id be very keen to go to. I also reckon some of the guys over there would appreciate a large event in that corner of Britain as they do deserve a medal for the amount of driving they must do.

Well done to Greg!!!

Results from NERCR & the 07-08 Series

These are the "unofficial" results for the day and the series.
Hope the link works -> Results
Mail [email protected] if they don't

I have used the settings as per the bbkRC regional database - so if they are not correct - not my fault.

Re the Lowe / Wood result - the bbkRC settings give the 2wd champ to Lowe as it is set to use "Best results of scoring rounds to break tie"

cheers ba NERCR

Josh I thought that you were driving exellent. This is the reason you qualified higher than me in the first place. But when in the final it is all about keeping your cool and not bomming off at the firsty chance. I mean I started 10th, but i kept my cool and gradually over-took most of the people to finish with a well earned third.:thumbsup:

Greg Williams 12-02-2008 05:12 PM

Thanks for all the kind comments guys.:D

Really enjoyed Sunday, the track was ace. Well done to the NERCR members who helped set the track up, I thought that the mats off the end of the straight were great and so was the wall of death.

Well done to Ben Jemison on making your first 4wd regional A Final and beating me by one point in the 2wd championship!:D

Thanks, i was driving slowly and smoothly but i seemed to have bad luck/bad mistakes a few time in the final which put me down. I see you finished 15th, need a pit bitch/personal photographer at Worksop?
