My Focus shell has arrived at last :thumbsup: HPI have certainly made a good job of it, nice detail and a decent sized rear wing might help with the jumps ...
Just gotta slap a Mcrae paint job on it and we ready to go ..... Just noticed the Poll has more 'for' than 'against' at last !!! |
My entry has just arrived.... came with a free car too :woot:
Bodyshell is genuine 80's rally car, however the paint job on it is shocking - i might have to do a quick outside blow-over to hide the worst of it... Im not going crazy with it though, i have a feeling there will be enough 'rubbing' as it is :P I need some stickers as well.... help cover up the sprayjob :lol: |

Nope, will still use the TA01/2 chassis for Rallycross, means i can keep some spares for that & the Top Force. Plus its a vintage chassis, for a vintage Rallycross shell :)

It would be nice if we could get videos on all classes this winter, so put on here to show people what we do. Has someone got a decent video camera & tripod we could borrow ? Put it in the corner and video away :) |

Whats the deal with tyres pete, we using the rally tyres from CML or going to Yellow rallyblocks like the micro's?

TA05 received from DCM, stripped, cleaned, reassembled, electrics installed & bodyshell cut out. Just waiting on some bodyposts and other odds n ends and it'll be ready to roll :thumbsup:
Dave, I er, now no longer have those fastrax tyres so was going to chuck on a set of rallyblocks off my micro What tyres is everyone else going to run? |

I put new yellow rally blocks on my car but then felt guilty cos of the grip I had compared to everyone else :woot: so they've been replaced with an old knackered set of the same compound for a bit more slippage ..... :woot: |
