The 410 is an awesome car and at the current prices is an absolute bargain.

Whether to wait for the next incarnation or not is a tough decision and is entirely down to you, if you are a very good driver then you are probably best waiting for the latest but if you are a club level driver who races casually then the changes to the car will probably be less noticeable than the saving of £150.

That said it's always nice to have the new gear so if you can afford it then get the new car.

Don't forget durango hasn't announced anything yet so we don't know how long it will be until the next car is released.

I have orderd the 410!!

Anny tips for me? I have read that some people say that the bigbor shocks are much better but that is a little to much $$$$ for me at the moment. Any ather tips?
I am thinking to put in my CC 3800 4pole motor in the 410 what do you think??

I haven't got the big bores either, and i don't mis them at the moment...
they are idd very expensive :)

I've got the speed passion 6.5T in the Durango, it's a very nice motor...

1) Both 410 models are on sale everywhere. This to me clearly is to get rid of all stocks of "old" cars. This does not mean that they are bad cars! It's a very good deal, and there will be a lot of happy customers! Yes, it's always annoying when you've just bought something at full price, just to see it on sale a week later... but that's life. Rather you should be happy for those getting a good deal now. If you can't live with that, you'll just have to wait forever for that ultimate deal... And if shops adverted a coming sale, they'd ONLY sell when having the sale >> bankrupt in no time...

2) As they now make & sell big bore shocks, of course that will be included in the new version kits. And since the manufacturer still have not released any official info they probably have not finalized everything (spec, price, delivery time etc). I'm sure they are doing their best, just be patient.

3) There will always be rumours! Some like it, some don't. I myself was surprised at how secret TLR managed to keep the 22 up to release. But this was an exception, not the rule. You simply cannot critizise Durango for not releasing news because there are rumours. Take a pill & chill... :D

Just noticed something in a pic from durango news.
Looks like they like the rear gearboxholder, and there is something going on around the servo saver and servo link.
but i cant tell if its just aftermarket parts or something they're testing.
Also what does it say on the ballcups? is it tamiya?

They are Durango ball cups.

It's write "Durango HD" on the ball cups.

too bad i just got a DEX410R for 20 bucks cheaper before this update came out....i wonder if Durango would do anything for me.

I think it's wrong to suddenly drop the price of a car by so much, it's bad enough the loss of value as soon as you build it now if you want to sell and you have bought at the old price it's vast:thumbdown:.

I don't see why. In any other industry the same principles apply. You can buy a tv, clothing, car, microwave, sofa one day, the next the price is reduced. Why should the rc industry be any different?

I am very curious if we shall be able to upgrade to the new version. I suppose that we will be able. All the options that are for sale the last week seems to be parts of the new version.

To be honest - as long as there is nothing announced on the Team Durango website, why should I guess anything?

Why should I even think about changing anything on my DEX410 when almost the same car in the hands of Jörn Neumann was good enough for vice world champion? Without big bores...

It's even worse for real cars. You loose money the second you drive it off the forecourt
