Seems like ages ago since the last shootout meeting

Oooooooh did I mention nice shiney trophies too??? ;)

Dudders 12-06-2011 08:22 PM

Bump up for Tuesday night. Weather looking good for Tuesday, track will dry nicely and boy did we need this rain on it :thumbsup:

Reckon we're on for 30+ cars wo we'll need to be pretty speedy on the old turn arounds :D

Trophies for top 3 in each final!

EDIT: NO SHORT COURSE OR TRUGGIES ON SHOOTOUT MEETINGS.

Dudders 13-06-2011 07:20 PM

Where's your 4wd?

Jelly 13-06-2011 10:13 PM

The shocks are knackered. Cheap plastic items!

Dudders 13-06-2011 10:26 PM

Much as I'd like to buddy I cant. If I let you in with the truck I'd leave myself open to juniors coming in and the other Short Course guys wanting to join in. Shootout is buggies only.

However, solution!. Fancy driving a 2wd for the night?. Got a couple of spare cars ready to rumble

Tonight I will be running my old mat rat with the rtr 12 turn motor and esc only uprades from the kit will be the servo and suspension should be interesting to see how it goes. New servo arm for the cougar didn't fit :thumbdown:

That Mad Rat turned out well in the end! Although I still think I could have caught you if we had more than the 4min final! My fault for spinning out within a metre of the start hooter!! But I was gaining on ya', even if you had stuff in reserve!

Great track, I really liked it and was getting my lap times down into the 22's for it... Even the new fastrax tyes were working well for me... Bring on sunday for the GP!

Mark

Apologies for the slight admin error in the B final. I tried to sort the timing issue before the race started but it would'nt correct it, so apologies on your lost minute :thumbdown::thumbdown:.

Mad Rat is certainly worth every penny, but it also takers a smooth driver to make it work. Think you might have pipped him in that other minute. Cracking start though, pole to last in 1 foot :thumbsup::thumbsup:

It would have been close had it been the full time, but i had at least a second a lap in hand if i had needed to push to win so :p ha ha. All i can say the kit with the motor and Esc and controller was £80 the alloy suspension was £20.00 with springs (savox servo £60.00 SSHHHHH keep that quite) lots of weight so for £100 pounds plus a semi decent servo you can have fun at any club which is not bad, love the madrat
