That is almost an exact copy of how mine is installed. I am also running a low profile servo, Sanwa RX but a LRP SXX on the motor plate. :thumbsup:

I quite like the straps but would be very tempted by anything Oldtimer come up with!

Looks nice, I think the LRP might be more efficient than my old GTB. How did in handle indoors with the kit springs?

If you look back a couple of pages, the photos of my car show a quick solution using a bit of old cf and just one velcro strap ;)

For reference, the Cougar with 8mm chassis is, 285mm too...

Ran the 22 with kit setup, all I changes was to put the 54 pistons in the rear to soften the damping. Car was great. Very predictable, lots of steering but very controllable. The rear end did slide a little, but was easy to catch. I've bought the rear weight kit now so expect it will be even better :)

weight??:thumbdown: I'm not sure how you have your car set up, so dont take this heavy, but you guys may want to move your ESC back to the back for you add more weight then necessary. i knew you guys were gonna do this, it makes no sense. just like some of the x-factory guys do with the short lipos. a lighter car is a faster car.

I used to like my ZX-5 Sp better with a bit more weight, and the SC10, too.

what are you guys using to stick the esc to the motor gaurd

For mounting the speedo I just use regular double sided servo tape.
Got my last roll on e-bay :) Once it's stuck, it isn't coming off without a fight...

in short wheel base are cougar is 274mm with 8mm chssis,so no more than 278 long wheel base

Here's mine, only things left are a PT, have a lower power cap that's a bit beefier, then decide what to do with the servo wire to the receiver...

here is mine

finally done all my electrics and found the body shells pre marked dimples a bit out of line meaning the bodyshell is a little off so worth checking, same with the one at the front too but thats the only downside I have had.

Pretty impressed just need to get some tyres :D

yeah dude, might have to pop to see mr dodd for some rear tyres though.

just the wiring it a little messy, not much space when you have a full size servo and a sp GT2 lol.

Its tight, but did manage to get a gt2 and receiver up front with a low profile savox - don't really need servo tape to hold it in!

OK so far!-Ally plate for speedo and the rear lipo just slots in nicely, shocks feel really nice, hoping to run this weekend!
