Got my shell and under tray today must say that the under tray is all class, shell is very good but i prefer the tresrey one. Is a very good purchase over the stock stuff, no more heat problems for me and im in QLD Australia 30+ degrees racing every meet.

Really recommend this shell. The heat is significantly lower compared to the stock shell.

Good to hear
Any special cooling setup on the motor or just fine without?

BostonNelson 19-03-2011 02:15 PM

No, just a fan on the esc but nothing on the motor. But, I guess the real test comes during the hot summer days (it's winter here now ). And another test will be the EOS pilot in Sweden in a couple of weeks. http://eos.redrc.net/series/

Bugle 22-03-2011 10:22 AM

Yeah it's no fair you get indoor offroad tracks!
We have to keep rebuilding our track because every time there's a decent downpour it washes half the track away. Happened last weekend..

It'll survive summer even if you have to chuck a fan in there, how hot does it get in Sweden?

Bugle 22-03-2011 10:37 AM

Another thing, bodies from now on will have overspray film on them to make things easier if you prefer trimming the body before painting. With the latest polycarb i've got they've improved the protective film so I can leave it on there..

There's cutting lines on it, they just don't show up in the pic

My Bugle body inspired by the video game Wipeout (the wing is not Bugle yet)

Duct tape and spray cans FTW!

Bugle 02-04-2011 03:14 AM

Glad you guys like em
Just need that Atomic Carbon tub now hey SHY

I'm usually the same Gonzo, too impatient to wait for liquid mask to dry or to get the compressor out, I should buy a hobby sized one. Could've saved the money I spent on spray cans and got one..

SHY 02-04-2011 11:19 AM

Oh yeah, that's goona be sweeeeeeeeeeeeet! :wub

Arnefles 09-04-2011 08:05 PM

Bugle, two of our local racers started a hobby shop a little while back. I just sent him a link to this thread letting him know about your bodies. Hopefully he can bring you some business. Once my current body is a gonner I will be hitting you up as well. Joseph.

Bugle 20-04-2011 02:06 PM

Sweet, always happy to make more

JustARcFan 20-04-2011 02:15 PM

Maybe you can make something for the vega.

I'm sure you will have LOTS of business :woot:

What body do they normally run on the Vega? I can't find a pic with a body on it :)

Bugle 21-04-2011 11:22 AM

Should've just looked at the Vega section here instead of Team xtreme website, interesting looking standard shell :)
