Good luck everyone and see you tomorrow.

Dyna 18-12-2010 07:31 PM

Sorry Pete, ill say now that i wont be coming tomorrow... its now -5 and the roads are still just too bad for me to risk it that early in the morning :(

Will the little roads into the Caldicot estate be ok in the morning, or is the frost gonna make it a no-go zone?

Dont want to travel 1.5 hours to get stuck at the last few yards. Maybe you should have your spades at the ready to help dig us in. LOL

markwilliamson2001 18-12-2010 09:03 PM

Well i just tested the water a few minutes ago...
The road from Ledbury to Ross was clear as anything.
I just dont know which route to take tommorow?
Any suggestions as to which might be easier/less trouble. I usually come south from monmouth alongside the river, but it is very hilly and windy coming into chepstow..

Is the A40 and A449 towards newport then back east on the A48 worth a shot? I have never come that way.

Of course there is always the motorway! LOL

Belsten 18-12-2010 09:08 PM

I dont imagine the estate roads will be impassable at all

I would go for the 40 & 449 route mark, probably quicker too

markwilliamson2001 18-12-2010 09:12 PM

Cheers Dave...isnt there a mcdonalds on the junction where the A449, a48 and m4 meet?

Belsten 18-12-2010 09:22 PM

sure is, left at that roundabout, all the way around the next one and back on yourself if you want to get in there

blue_pinky 19-12-2010 12:38 AM

Well I know this might be a little late...arrived at the hall at about 2pm, got into the estate and car park no probs. Bit slippy if your stupid, but fine if your careful.

Left at about 10pm, drive straight out, again slippy, but fine! There will be plenty if people around to help if you need a shove any way

Hopefully see you tomorrow if it's all ok at your end too!!!

chris.c 19-12-2010 06:16 AM

Excellent meeting today fellas! Enjoyed the track, once I got into the groove. Grip seemed to come up nicely in last two qualifiers, which was nice.

Might see some of you at Hereford in Jan for the 10th Off-Road Meeting....who knows.

markwilliamson2001 19-12-2010 06:10 PM
