I think there is a stronger stock of mugen parts on the shelf in the uk with stuart and models in motion:D

Toddington (garden centre track) was my favourite by miles .......... not forgetting Towcester (both tracks) and St Albans. All these tracks were less than 45 minutes from my house and now they are no more :(

Didnt do many of them to be fair, but the Chiltern Challenge and the Tanaplan GP were always the highlights for me when I started out in the early 90's

Likewise, being based in Watford, St.Albans was 5 mins away, Toddington, Chesham and Aylesbury only 20mins away and the furthest we travelled back then was MK or Northmapton at a staggering 45 mins away.

I know when Tony first started up Planet Hampshire people were in uproar that it was SO FAR away and over an hour for most, now with the current lack of tracks a brief jaunt to Basingstoke would seem a stones throw away for some good racing.......

It took me 2hr 35min to get to bloody Silverstone last saturday which is in our current region (admittant the M1 was crap all the way and then the A43 was stationery for the first 6 miles too, normally it is under an 1hr for me) but my point is NOTHING any good seems to be 20 mins or so away at present everything is 45mins plus and NOT in abundance too....

I did check the link I hoppe it is OK (works for me)

There is a thread saying that Models In Motion have closed their doors for the last time today....

After Microtech last month this would be another BIG well known shop to close "if" it is true....

I hope so if I can get the help from the members. It's three of us who run it at the mo. Steve, Julian & myself. Last weekend they were left to fend for themselves as Julian went to Goodwood & Steve and I did the EOS finals.

Really hope we can get something together.
