Most people are on 2.4ghz now, so chances are you will be ok with one set - although having a second set to use won't hurt ;)

Is the track going to be open this Thursday for practice? If so does anyone from Keighley/Skipton way want to car share? Happy to drive!

M M R X wakefield 30-08-2010 09:57 PM

hi, yes track will be open this thursday, as normal 5 - 8 £5

track will also be open next sunday 11 - 5 £10 if anyone wants to get some practice in for the race meeting on the 12th september.

Do you accept 1/8 electric? My X1 is getting converted now. Will be running MMM 2200 kv and 4s Lipo and up.

Lee.

Saw the track this Sunday, looks totally amazing. Congratulations to everyone who made this happen. Just need to decide which 8th car to get now, always fancied one but never did as there wasn't a track close by... How can I break the news to her indoors.....

well went down for a practice session tonight and the track was awesome..just has the right balance with no stupid jumps or blind corners, track flows well and is very nice to drive.

Does anyone know how a Truggy goes round this track? Or would I be best off buying a buggy?

losi madness 10-09-2010 09:28 AM

a good truggy would be better i find them , better than my buggy on tracks

andys 10-09-2010 10:00 AM

The track really is a good as it looks. Had my first couple of runs on it last night and I can confirm it's ace. No nasty surprises, very flowing when you get it right !

dave g 10-09-2010 10:09 AM

buggy all the way

it will learn you drive smoother and cleaner, the buggies go really well around wakefield :)

Richard Lowe 10-09-2010 12:51 PM

Can't wait for this Sunday

Fingers crossed it stays dry :bored:

Just to whet people's appetites even more some on-board madness...

excellent evenings driving, was good to see the timing gear all set up, pity i am only able to achieve low 50 high 40 second laps unlike some very lowe and sub 40 laps being achieved by a certain someone, i'm sure you know who you are mr G.
