Ta mate, that cabrio shoot (and subsequent beers) was a Friday evening well spent.

This one of yours I really like :)

Got a fancy new macro lens last week so I'll keep my eye out for some insect porn to go with your flies!

There already, I suspect the remains of a rather poor bmx ramp. I guess the quality of my piles will have to remain unknown for now :eh?:

I like that funfair shot, its just a pitty that the board is clipping the frame.

What conversion method did you use for your black and white?

P_B 18-09-2007 07:07 AM

Yeah, shame about that board. It was a tad blustery and I wasn't using a tripod so always a risk, should have had a more thorough look at the LCD. Just happy to have an acceptably sharp shot and not be blown into Morecambe Bay, really!

As for b+w, I've tried loads of methods but always struggled to get the result I want. For now I'm experimenting with the Virtual Photographer plugin. Mostly it's a bit gimmicky, though the b+w seems quite good once you tweak the default settings.

mole2k 18-09-2007 02:10 PM

I generally use calculations or channel mixer for my b&w's.
