i think everyone can sympathise with you losing a loved one,i lost my dad to limphnode cancer in 2005 after a long battle with it so i know how you feel, its horrible and you think you wont cope..but you do,you have to for the sake of everyone else in the family.

you and your family can get counselling if you need it,dont turn help away from people that want to help you, especially family.

All out speed won't win you races. When i first started I accidentally cut the first hairpin, met the rest of the field coming head on, took myself out and two others in a quality pile up. Car was just too fast for me as a first timer and that was a Bosscat 4WD with a 27single motor and a brick sized Nosram ESC  Personally i'd stick with the Losi that you have, they're decent cars and are frequently up there in national A finals, so they can't be all that bad can they? If you really want to change, then get the cat sx, otherwise as someone else mentioned you'll have to buy saddle pack for ya b44, then again, i'm assuming your running LiPO?, if not then cat nicad's are a 4x2 config so that bit of advice is obsolete..

slow the car down, that will probably do you more good and give you more faith in the losi. learn how all the settings on the car affect the handling.. What exactly is it you don't like about the xxx4? understeer, oversteer?? maybe we can suggest ways of making your car better suited to your driving. a naff setup on a b44 won't be any better than a naff setup on the losi.

d4 or xx4 which it the best ? as i cannot afford a b44

stampede vxlboy 21-11-2009 01:47 AM

??? which car is the best for outdoor track #?

Col 21-11-2009 01:58 AM

xx4 is old, but still a good car. The d4 is also a good car. It's down to personal choice really.
As has already been mentioned it makes no difference which one you choose to buy for this week as you'll not be able to drive either car to it's limit, therefore the limiting factor of the car is you, the driver.

stampede vxlboy 21-11-2009 02:05 AM

what are trying to say ? can the d4 take some hammer on the tracks

Col 21-11-2009 02:07 AM

That's exactly my point. A fast car driven by a fast driver will not take any hammer - it'll be smooth and consistant.
There are no bad 4WD cars currently made in my opinion - if they were shit no-one would buy them so take your pick, buy it and keep with it.

stampede vxlboy 21-11-2009 02:11 AM

i am going what would you buy out of the 2 cars and prices of diffrents parts

Col 21-11-2009 03:53 AM
