When i go back in to the esc/losi to update firmware i cannot even find it. What am i doing wrong? I hate the excelorin and wished i had not wasted my money:thumbdown:. worst spend ever but am stuck with it. sorry for the negativity but this one thing is spoiling what is supposed to be an enjoyable recreation. It has been sent back and tried with no problems. So why does it still glitch. The new firmware supposedly sorts this.
I am probably being stupid:confused: but looking at the amount of posts on this thread I am not the only one suffering to the evil ways of excelorin!

I think it mentions it in the instructions, but when you try and open the file try this from an earlier post "Locate file, if you cant find it put *.lsc in and it should pop up"

Can you see the file in file explorer?

FWIW I had all those reverse probs but now seems to be working great, and I like that I can hook up to my laptop to tweak. Not great if you aren't all that computer literate I guess, but then there is that programming card too.

As dibble34 said, when trying to load the new firmware first direct to the folder you downloaded it to, then literally type *.lsc in the file box and press enter.

This should show every file in the folder you are browsing and that way you should be able to load the new firmware.

Once updated, ensure you reset to factory settings. Then adjust setting to suit!

Just go to the folder, type in the first letter of the file in name and it will come up.

Click ok
Go to commands and select reset to factory default
click ok

and your software version will change to version 28, and you are redy to select your new settings.

Dont forget to reset to factory defaults before setting, as Brian said.

just seen on the commands tab that you can sort profiles 4 and 5. Is this the place to start playing with it all now then?
