It's hiding in the loft now.. When I tried the Tamiya Topforce a couple of years before that, it was much better..! That's also in the loft.!
If you want to run vintage, can't beat the RC10....
Not a bad idea about Cully though..

I'd forgotten how many pieces there were to these cars Alan and that they don't come with bearings!! :(. The hotshot is staying completely standard including the 540 silver can motor and tyres....or at least for now haha.

I still need to fix my optima mids gearbox after it went crunch at the Batley Christmas meeting on the warm up lap of the final. That carpet is unforgiving on the old cars.

And I still have an Optima mid to rebuild.
Got the shell and under tray though...

Aire valley 28-04-2017 10:02 AM

Chris...you should have the Optima done by now...you've spent too much time painting..!

Jim...I will be interested to see how the Hotshot goes.....if you get it to work, you can set mine up the same...! Yes, lots of bits but still a great looking car though...... The RC10 ran great at MB..!

Couple for friends at Batley.
Green one was an approximate copy of a shell they already had. Congrats to original painter - great design.
Spec for other one was bright colours, swooshes, chequered flags etc. The works!!

Cheers Alan, But I must say here that I can't claim any design on this one as David already had an existing shell which I have tried to replicate (albeit, I have reversed a bit of the honeycomb).

The spec was "bright colours, maybe some chequered flag, but not black/white, and then just whatever" :-)
