Have each teams pitting area been decided yet or will that be done tomorrow night?

jameswilkinson7 06-03-2014 06:19 PM

I'll be looking after jacks stuff from the kitchen area.

Drivers, the list of transponders at the beginning of this thread are the only ones that can be used for tomorows event. So if there are any changes let me know ASAP, if any other transponder not listed is used the system will note it as an unknown driver and this will cause confusion.

Make sure you are aware of the rules and remember one driver one car.

The computer will be set to read the race order every 15 minutes. This will be your half way indicator.

Try and arrive early so we can start promtly, I will have to do some initial checks.

Have Fun. Nori

Hi Everyone, Please can someone bring some Lexan scissors tonignt, need to trim a bit off the body as it keeps resetting the speed controller, did have a go last night with a blunt craft knife and almost took my finger off,

If I am running a little late please start without me, I will do my best to arrive before seven, but sometime the traffic can be a pain,

See you all tonight, thanks and good luck,

Mark

:+1 for a top top night... A great experience for all I'm sure we can agree... Endurance..?? Pah!! Easy!

But seriously, first time I'd done an endurance event with a buggy and I thoroughly enjoyed I must say... Less breakages than I expected but the track was not too punitive, however, a broken chassis ended my buggy but many thanks to Nick n Paul for thinking on their feet while I was dithering, they got me back up n running with Nicks buggy in double quick time! Big thanks to Danny for giving us the chance of a win, sorry Danny but we blew it mate...

Bib big up for Nori n James for getting the night on n for all those who created the track while some of us were battling with the M62 overflow...

when is the next one!!!:thumbsup:

P.s. For Jon Price.. Ping me on here if you dig out that B4 chassis please.. Chee-yahs..

neallewis 08-03-2014 03:05 AM

Really good endurance format for the meeting today. Different and fun. 5 teams of 4 drivers each had 1 hour track time, with 1000+ laps after 4 hours racing. Thanks Nori for spending the time to work it all out, track builder(s) commentators and competitors for making it a great meeting.

Tilly 08-03-2014 07:58 AM

Big thanks to nori n James for organising the event it was good fun, an interesting change from the normal format. Would def do another night like this.
Thanks to all of team 5 for a good race with a close 3rd place finish.

Craig

Well its the day after and I must say the old body is now screaming you will never do that again will you !

Ha little does it know :woot:

bricol 08-03-2014 10:41 AM

Sounds like there was a bust B4 chassis last night. If the offered one doesn't turn up, we've got a spare one here. Probably be able get it in the Dewsbury direction somehow.
