If I run my TL01 it has a bruhesd HPI Firebolt 15T sealed can thing with 6.57 gearing. Speedo settings you say? Don't have those, running a no-brand speedo with no settings not even calibration. And Sorex 28s.

Although, I don't know if I will run it yet. I am having fun with the Mardave

Like I said at the start,I asked about running a TT01 and was told I couldn't because it's a TC,
Could someone let us know the "rules, spec," ASAP for running a tto1

leedolby77 19-01-2014 07:08 PM

Or this.......

I guess we are :) I'm happy as long as nobody moans about my Mardave. I've just put a Castle motor in it and 4S. But don't worry, I've mounted four 1/8 scale wings around the body to keep it nice and controllable.

oh dear... Sorry about that, I thought the TT01 was about the perfect Clubman car. Just stick a 13.5 with no timing and you'll be OK I think. When Scott has run a 13.5 he's been very close to my sealed can 15T.

I'm just charging up my glow start ready friday:lol:

I'll be bringing a tt02 and a tb04 for clubmans and I will be running them both and if anybody moans they can keep my points as I don't care about it as long as I can beat Charlie

Both have a 13.5 installed, oil shocks, and beautiful bodies

Scott not skid, although I'm going to run with it as my driver name:p

How do I book in with the driver name Skidd?:D

siddus74 19-01-2014 07:26 PM

We have one more championship after this one don't we? I've sold the f104 pro and opted for a simple f104w that should be ready in a couple of weeks

Stock gearing and silver can, so keep yours unbroken Chris!

Skidd

What's happend to you all running a tto1?
So basically if it's 4WD then we run 13.5 blinky, with any hop ups and any tires
If we run F1 it's silver can or brushless equivalent blinky, any hopups and any tires,
Mini is black can blinky, any hop ups and any tires.
No points for anyone just good racing each week.

Fine with me - but will confirm at committee meeting tomorrow, then get the agreed rules published on the website so everybodyt can see :thumbsup:

siddus74 19-01-2014 08:38 PM

I like the idea of f1 silver can or brushless equivalent which is 21.5 turn because you get brakes ..

Dave Dodd 19-01-2014 08:51 PM

Enjoying the posts ;)

Right let's allow all the tamiya chassis except TRF (so no pro type tourer chassis this includes the Schumacher mi1/mission etc.) 13.5 blinky/zero timing (or we can see how they go) as I know there is a weak part in the transmission on the tt01 (unless it's been updated) so u can't run them too hot.. scale ish shells, no tourer shells.

I enjoy the clubman class, its different each week and always looks quite close for most, even with all the different motor specs.
As some of you have said it's not always the winning but the close racing between yourselves which is more fun.

It's all supposed to be fun and friendly :)

I know drivers have left but others joined in their place.
Gt12 has become quiet but some drivers have just changed class, we still have them ;)

The only clubman car I have is an m03, which Chris g, Chris p and Charlie know all about lol. (Ive not ran it for some time lol) rear motored 6.5bl

Will discuss and finalize at tomorrows meeting.

leedolby77 19-01-2014 08:56 PM

So F1 still allowed but with silver can? hate to ask.........

siddus74 19-01-2014 08:57 PM

Those rules seem good... Please 21.5 blinks for f1 .... I know they are slower than 27 but better on battery and brakes.

Skidd.

Thats all well and good but if you do not have 21.5 then we will need to go out and buy one.......

reg 19-01-2014 09:17 PM

What about silver can in every class,
Use what the cars were designed to use?
If you arnt chasing the lap times of a different model by going max on the gearing it should be fine, that way if it doesn't work we haven't sheld out on motors we arnt going to use

leedolby77 19-01-2014 09:20 PM

Ah.... I have it.... how about an invitation only class? If your names not down your not coming in?....
