I drew them, using a commercially available airbrush template as a reference, then scanned them, then plotted them out onto Avery masking vinyl. I cut them all apart and laid them down in about 5 or 6 pieces, and faded in the transparent SpazStix anodized red behind them. It was actually a pretty easy paint job once the drawings were done...

It's a very strange feeling seeing someone else drive my old car on the other side of the world... and do very well with it! I figured it would turn up eventually over here. :D

Ah so you're where Tom got his car from. Was in excellent condition, a refreshing change to some of the shite I've seen change hands over internet transactions.

Unfortuatly the chassis is no longer as mint as it once was eh Tom? ;)

And it'll only get worse as papa smurf mechanics it...... :(

The car is going very well. The chassis has seen better days, but the car still goes quick so that will be left on until the Indoor Finals.

Looks good, Tom, glad the car is working out for you. With all of the off road and carpet tracks in this area closing down, I kind of got left high-and-dry with all of my cars. It's better that someone gets to race them than they sit on the shelf and collect dust.

If G won with a walking pace car cos he couldn't get the right pinion on, how much is he going to win by if he gears it correctly?

If I can get my car to hold together for more than 2 minutes at a time (2.5 minutes for the motor) I reckon I can challenge more. I might have found a source for some RC10 bits ( I cannot give away my sources) and he has some new shock bodies (note jim!!!!) so some rear damping won't go a miss either! Not sure if he can source a dogbone though :(

Er, wrong thread?
