:woot: 1/5th thats a big body, very nice work, would love to see it next to a 1/10th just for size comparison. Great work as always, keep it up

carborush 15-11-2013 07:47 PM

Cheers guys !

yes these 1/5th scale bodies are very big, it's hard to even hold on with one hand while cutting, peeling or brushing with the other
here's an older picture to compare to the 1/10th version
main advantage is that you have a much bigger canvas, imagine putting the 1/10 detail on there fully covering the big 1/5th !
that would be crazy :) the amount of work even more crazy :D

Awesome stuff there fella. Very similar workflow to myself when I use Vinyl :)

I had a look on your facebook page and saw some black and pink vinyl - what make is the stuff you use - and where do you get it?
I fancy giving it a try to see if it is better at going around curves than the stuff I use :)

Cheers.
Andy

Thanks Andy,

the vinyl i use is avery and 3M
I prefer the 3M because it leaves less glue residue and sticks just the right amount for easy pealing
I get my vinyl via http://www.signofix.be he's doing car wrapping (1/1scale) amongst other things so he has plenty lying around
