Crap to put it simply. Best to invest in the older zxr model but really down to what your after. If your up for vintage then the zxr or if for fun and getting back into racing the 2wd losi 22.

rondoolaa 19-05-2011 10:15 PM

:( i have a zx-5 and thought they were ok, mine goes like s*** off a shovel, lol

i have a plastic chassis as a spare and ok it is plastic but as long as it goes fast and beats the opposition i'm happy,

although gotta agree the zx-r is a class car, but you'll find the parts for a zx-5 a lot easier to get hold of

Welshy40 19-05-2011 10:34 PM

Good going, if it works why change. Spares are easy to get for the zxr. All chassis and shock towers, steering, servo plate, lipo tray, belts, diff and layshaft gears, bodyshells, ujs, wheels are all still available now so no problems for us either. Stick a 5.5 x12 in like ive done on my zxr. Its pretty quick now as well.

rondoolaa 19-05-2011 11:56 PM

dunno, i'm having trouble finding la-11 and la-26,

i know there are la-26 on fleabay but they are nearly £17 with postage for just 2 fronts, originaly £6 for 2 fronts and 2 rears,, just cant understand what happened to the rears, unless kyosho decided to just sell fronts as they broke more and took the cheapskate way out by not even printing new cardboard packet headers and instead just putting a sticker over the old one, lol

i have sent some money to someone to try to get me 3 sets of la-26 from kyosho america but they are even having problems getting them as they keep going in and out of stock

thats truthfully the only 2 parts i'm looking for but cant find, well la-32 is another hard to find part,

also i'm after some blue front hubs, are they available anywhere along with the other parts i want?

Hi Ron,

Checking my sources for LA-11! Let you know ASAP.

Regarding the blue c-hubs, you mean this ones?
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/rare-vintage-k...item3a661f73fd

A lot of guys here on the forum can help you out with la-26, If not please contact me!
BTW I know a good source for LA-32;)

Brgds

Welshy40 20-05-2011 05:46 AM

Buy those hubs but do use threadlock when fitting the king pins otherwise you may lose the bearings later on.

La11 are hard to find yes but my friend did make a mold and we have found the right resin to make them. Problem is that he has taken on a contract thats now taking all his time and is working 7 days a week so is unable to make any more at the moment. When he contacts me when he has time i will see what he can do. He also made the front gearbox as well.

Iso,

You forgot one thing, these bend very easily and is not really worth buying. The team line one is the way to go and buy it whilst you have the chance as they are unbreakable. I can break most things when testing and have never broken a team line castor block.

rondoolaa 20-05-2011 12:05 PM

will try and get the teamline ones then, does anyone have any for sale to save me going in a bidding war on the ones on ebay, no worries if not,
ps: thanks for the above pics of the orange ones

I am looking for the Lazer ZX body, undertray, and wing (LA-36). I have asked Kamtec already and they are only doing Lazer ZX-S bodies now.

Does anybody know where I can find a set? Or an alternative body? Will the ZX-5 Body fit the Lazer ZX?

Thanks in Advance.

@Alan: Teambluegroove is back online, please check the ebay link below = lazer zx shell and wing! Undertray is available in an other auction.

Moth swedes and swedes every where

Btw take an look at tampa when they are on defence they play 1-3-1 and what nationality has the guy that invented that play :D
And now that the bruins lost  well i guess that they take it in the last game. They have to make the first pass faster.

Iso,

The 1-3-1 is a different way of playing the trap. The neutral zone trap was perfected by Scotty Bowman.....Tampa didn't re-invent the wheel with that play.

I can't stand the Bruins, they are a bunch of sore loosers that play dirty. I want them out as fast as possible. But then if they make it to the finals I'm sure the Canuks will teach them a lesson.

Shocks and rims for Lazer ZX, ZX-R, ZX-RR

5 Attachment(s)
Hi,

I have some shocks and rims for sale if anyone is interested.

Shocks:
  • 2 x Goldies long
  • 2 x Goldies short
  • 4 x Goldies medium (used on ZX-R in front)
All shocks are used and show some small scratches but are technically in very good condition. Thinking about 29 € for a set of 4 shocks including springs.

Rims:
  • 4 x ARP pink rims (2 front, 2 rear); special is that the rear rims have more offset; so the ZX-RR also gets the full width on the back
  • 4 x black HPI six-spoke rims
Email or PM me if you are interested.

Cheers

Ralf
