Agree with everything above. Quality weekend and ran without a hitch. Im sunburnt too! Thanks to Chris P,Simon and Bill
I was impressed by the ammount of X 6s doing well. A lad in my heat had 1 and was complaining of getting 12 312s in 1 or the rounds. He finished 8/9th in round for that.Well done!

I struggled with my 2wd today. Need more practice! Bring on York!

agree with all of ya! was a real good weekend. Shame I was making so many mistakes as the cars were dialled.
Chris, your right.. I don't get why andy said that, it was a real good result :)

josh_smaxx 25-05-2008 10:10 PM

Ye, i was marshalling Andy's heat and was seriously impressed, the car was dialled as was his driving

AndyM 25-05-2008 10:52 PM

really enjoyed the weekend; i drove terrible with 4wd, but 2wd went ok.

thanks to NERCR for a brilliant regional; the venue is fantastic!

baD 25-05-2008 11:27 PM

With no bush watering, least not in daylight, it was a fun weekend. Thanks to all who turned up and for leaving the place in pretty good nick. Bodes well for a return of last years Catherine Cookson Cup !

Thnaks too for all the fine comments on here, and a fair few at the park, it's Simon W & Chris P who desreve the credit, for both effort & organisation, do you think NERCR could make a few bob renting them out? ;)

And to check out all those "if only" comments, the unofficial results with full place & lap time details are here - they still have to be ratified.

darryl 26-05-2008 06:08 AM

good result there tom well done:thumbsup:

Well done Thomas.

Found some pics.:)

Who was running Mr Heliwells B44? Pretty sure he wasn't in 2 places at once yesterday.

Venue looks ace, right next to the beach by the looks of it.:(
I was in a field next to a main road with lots of wet stuff coming from the sky.

Don't worry though I'll be doing the NE next year.
Will they be using that venue again?

Full of praise form me too, the Sunday 2wd track was particulalrly good for a flat grass track.

Something a wiser man than me said for next year, if the rostrum was the other side the gale force wind wouldn't blow in your eyes ;)

i'm sure many others were wind burnt too, my skin has gone back to normal now, was very annoying last night though, can post more pics up but sadly i didn't catch your car matt as I had to marshall your final and yours heats were the one of the only ones i didn't see, hope to get snaps of the earlier heats at york if i'm not too busy pitting, if anyone does want pics of their cars in any of the remaining NE regionals let em know and i'll do my best

a dont think he was racin your cars he had that academy thing out then i took him home as he broke a speedo and picked him up with this procat thing a think . not sure about 2wd as i slept all day after gettin back to the tent around 8am of the nite b4

chrispattinson 27-05-2008 01:33 PM

If anyone has pictures of my cars, they are blue and yellow. (4WD Tamiya TRF501X, car 1 Heat 7 in qualifying, car 10 in A final), or my 2WD (B4 Car 8 Heat 5, or Car 8 B final) it'd be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks to everyone that helped over the weekend, too many to mention, but it was all worth while. Thanks to those that turned up to race aswell.

Em - your dad was using his Academy in 4wd, but your B4 in 2wd.

mr emily 27-05-2008 05:34 PM

What I used

They are right I used the academy V2, but it stopped speedo I think. I didn't use the Procat, to precious. Used bit from it though. The B4 went ok. Bought an X6 today so it will be sacrificed for bits. Two fun days, but I got bont. Not sure if it was the sun or the wind.
