Yup, thats the TLR mid motor weight kit (TLR4151). Fits perfectly on the back, the main piece is 50g, then you have 2 4g and 2 8g weights that bolt on.

Yeah I dont think they are long enough for the way I have it, but you could flip the layout and have the motor wires coming down the other side. Andy has his electronics install this way around, obviously he had to find a way to mount the aerial though.

wiring a TC and a 12th neatly has obviously helped along the way :)

Interesting to see no battery brace being used, although I don't think I could get my bigfoot rx in the front anyway regardless...

Yeah, the battery brace takes up a fair bit of valuable space. Figured that as long as its all tight in there and the battery cant move and cause damage! Plus this is how Andy and David did their installs when testing to get the MMP ESC in!

I have the MMP too, she is a big baby, but fitted in with a bit of trimming of battery brace, no chance of getting the receiver up front though even with no battery brace when using saddles :(

In testing both and and David used the Castle MMP and managed to get the receiver upfront... proper tight but they managed it. Not sure if Andy has a photo of the install or any advise but I'm sure he will post up about it.

This is how I ran my MMP with saddles.
Room for a Spektrum SR3520 receiver up front.

Otherwise, turn the ESC through 90 degrees across the chassis and run the Rx at the back - bend up a little lexan shelf to stick it above the rearward LiPo and attach it to the motor bulkhead with double sided tape - or use the angled face to mount your Rx.

Cheers fella, pretty sure I tried the first combo. I am running savox LP servo but with the wires and sensor cable coming out of the ends of the esc I couldn't find a way to fit it in that way and still get the wires out. How did you manage that? I have KO 408s receiver which is similar size to that spekky one so would probably work the same if I could get the esc in longways. At the moment I have MMP sideways up front with receiver at the back on the shelf. It is acceptable but not ocd levels! Not got shell back yet so not sure if fan will fit as it is, probably don't need it though.

It will fit with the fan for sure - but I have also run it without - although when the ambient temp starts to come up in the summer, I'm not sure if I would want to run it without or not.

You're right about the wires - I had forgotten (sorry:blush:) - I popped the case open on the MMP and made a side-exit hole for the receiver wire and the switch.

It was very tight I do remember. But where there's a will....

Now there is a plan.... i'll look into that one as would rather have the receiver up front really if poss...

I've used 501x battery posts to secure the radio plate.
I've also modified the mount that holds the cells in place on the rear car and put it infront of the servo so that the lipo can't smash the lugs off the servo in a big crash!!

I'm just going to make a battery strap though, keep the speedo on the rear plate. I just don't like the velcro straps too much.

Prob about £15-20 if I get it cnc cut. Mine is just a hand made prototype at min but planning on doing properly anyway so extra ones could be made easy if I know how many to produce!
