matdodd 30-08-2007 11:21 AM

Hey Jonesy are you goin down tomorrow?
& are you still getin mossy's car?

Jonesy 30-08-2007 11:50 AM

I was initially going to sort out going down tomorrow but going for some sort of family meal / day out somewhere in Cheshire, as you can probably tell I'm not that excited by it....

I may be racing the 1/18th for the first time at Ellesmere Port as well tomorrow night so looks like I'll be down first thing Saturday morning with pops. I'm hoping to camp on Saturday as well although I'm full of cold at the min so we'll see, may end up in travel lodge with me dad. Nobody has mentioned any plans for Saturday night as yet either, any thoughts?

Mossy ain't coming so I don't get his stuff, not too much of a bad thing though.

Kopite 30-08-2007 11:57 AM

the plan for saturday night is to get really hammered....

do we need much more of a plan than that?

G

I wonder if she'll come talking to us as often as Ash does :confused:

I suspect she'll stay well away if she has any sense.

nick oliver 30-08-2007 10:52 PM

Quick question,

To make sure, You don't have to book any carvans on for Silverstone Right?

Regards Nick.

JCJC 31-08-2007 07:30 AM

This is a guess from the numbers I've been hearing for 2WD (don't take them as definate)

U13 = 10
U16 = 16
Vets = 14
BRC's = 70

Sunday is roughly the same overall figure, but not sure whether it breaks down int he same way.

trekkerkk 31-08-2007 04:31 PM

thanks sleigh

If you are coming off the M1 at Jcn 15A then follow the A43 to the A5 roundabout at Towcester, turn left and there is a Tesco's on the left. :)

There is also a Mcdonalds at the next roundabout down the A43:)

andy reeves 01-09-2007 08:11 PM

Well the track was like racing on Mars from the end of the practice round :mad: :mad: :mad: Think it would have been better if a bomb had of exploded on it before hand and we still wouldn't have had so many deep holes in the track. Personally i had a better performance than was expecting but definatly not down to car set up. Well done to all the class winners esp Mr Goodall for the overall victory, Car in the final leg looked set up perfectly.

Best of luck to all that have to race on that track tomorrow :rolleyes:

_sleigh_ 02-09-2007 01:19 AM

Yeah, I heard less than great things about the track today. :o Hope things are better for tomorrow. Good luck to the Mid-West drivers.

super__dan 02-09-2007 10:02 AM

Anyone have a top ten, wondering if my X6 made it into the top 10 in the hands of Jim Dixon?

wacattack 02-09-2007 10:44 AM

Jim qualified 9th in the B. Was a tough days racing. Unfortunately the track was shocking, ive never seen grass cut up as much as it did yesterday

super__dan 02-09-2007 12:02 PM

Where were you Wayne?

Had a bit of a stinker to be honest. Ended up qualifying 10th in the B and finished 7th. Just couldnt get to grips with the track. Made a few changes for the final round but by that time it was too late.

Ahh well, theres always the f3/4/5's to look forward to :-)

KevLee 02-09-2007 07:51 PM

I've just got back from the track...

Big well done to Dan Cockill for his win today, that last leg was nail biting stuff!

Well done to Mark Stanley for his BRC win in 4wd and Nick Goodall for 2wd yesterday.

Lew 02-09-2007 08:37 PM

Pretty fun day! Didn't really think that should have been the track chosen because of the way the track went.... thought that was pretty ****, But still, I didn't do as good as hoped, but did drive well..

Gratz to tha dan cockilll!!!!!

and gratz every1 else....
