I`m pretty sure you can buy these from DMS (I havent looked so appologies if you cant!!)-but the tower is from Dms anyway and the Cream chap makes the metal components and they help each other out if you see what I mean....:thumbsup:

I had a quick look for you on the DMS site.The parts you require are in the DMS Partz section.DMS173A is the tower on its own and DMS173A-CREAM is the tower and the metal mountings in one package.

Quick andwers is I don't currently have the aluminium version in stock, but I do have the stainless steel version in stock. Also the DMS towers are in stock. DMS may have some of the aluminium version in stock if that is what you are after.

One of these days, I need to get some more mounts from you. I'd like to try the aluminum ones. Machodave and Kurt are running my big bore SC towers for the SCX-60CF so I sent them your way for the mounts.

well i tried a team sr 4mm carbon front shock tower on my x6sq this past weekend and it broke. it broke right where the four screws mount to the front top plate. and no it was not from hitting anything. another racer at my track had the same tower on his son's buggy and it broke as well. he has a dms tower on his x6 and he hasn't broke his. i wish there was a supplier for your tower here in the states, if there was i'd buy one today

I believe D.M.S. makes the CF towers, probably has one in stock, and they do ship reliably to the U.S.

I have both my mounts and the DMS carbon flex tower in stock. Postage is a little expencive to the USA though at £8.95 (which should probably be going up a bit since the latest postage increases)
