washing off original paint

sorry for the dumb question (but I am kind of newbie, so pls forgive me stupid questions) but how can I wash off the original paint? I don't really like it. Is the body a lexan body?
Thanks in advance!
Előd

grimidol 28-04-2010 02:47 PM

Well you cannt once it is on tbh thats it..... There was a post on here saying about using a paint remover on it but how that will affect the lexan and the paint i dont know :woot:

kedal 28-04-2010 07:05 PM

I paint mine over the lexan, but it's horrible ;) I bought a Jconcept Illuzion for RB5, I'm waiting for it !

JezT 29-04-2010 08:03 AM

I oversprayed our 2 (see earlier pictures) - not the perfect solution - but have withstood a lot of bumps and scrapes (landing on roof, etc) in the last month or so, while we are learning to drive.

Will eventially get clear shells and do proper paint jobs.

BTW - Eric from Concept Racing still has some clear shells at the best price.

kedal 30-04-2010 03:33 PM

Here is my very new body, a Jconcept Illuzion for the RB5. It (almost)perfectly fit, but I screwed up the pain... mad !

Nice! maybe later I will also change the body. For the moment I'm affraid that my HSP esc won't fit in, under this narrow body

meduz 30-04-2010 10:46 PM

nicefrog 31-05-2010 04:04 PM

rcmart.com have more stock of the Stadium truck now, not sure how much the postage into the UK is or if Ansmann are still chucking a wobbly over it but it's extreeeemely cheap to get them into Australia from HK, $99 usd for the kit and another $30 for postage and your done. I'll post the pictures of my Stadium Truck in here tomorrow

zagonielod 31-05-2010 06:20 PM

ben44 01-06-2010 03:12 PM

Yes the wings is important, i drive in 2Wd bubby, an it's a part of the set-up.

Great body paint.

And with the rest of the family...

The ProLine crowed pleaser 2 shell fits very well on the Royal Flash :)

Now...all I need is an X4-Pro :)

nicefrog 01-06-2010 05:07 PM

Very nice :) You still like the Master Smacker a lot?

kaylon 01-06-2010 05:14 PM

Thanks Nicefrog :)

I do yes..I like the master smacker, its very nice to drive. I just hope I don't have to change the spur gear often...cos the design of the rear end is not the best :)

Still...it's a great 4WD car...and perfect for club racing and introducing RC to new people. You just can't really beat it for price and performance.
