I'll have some soapy water and a tin of polish on standby. And I'll bring some stuff down to the track too ;)

trevpotter 05-10-2009 07:33 PM

Lots of soap

There's nothing wrong with taking pride in a shiny car Mark, all the other heathens just don't understand! And don't let James give you any crap, he's bought a new, yes new CAT shell because he says the 1 that came with it was'nt pretty enough, HA HA!

stampede vxlboy 05-10-2009 09:15 PM

jameswilkinson7 05-10-2009 10:09 PM

It's turned out just fine in the end. I was a little worried about the residue that the masking tape had left behind but I got that off with some white sprit.

You guys dont need to worry. Ive painted it luminous yellow, just like that X6 that keeps kicking your arse's.... Just remember to to pull over when I'm lapping your ass!:woot:

stampede vxlboy 05-10-2009 10:31 PM

Its funny, the last time I saw James's X6 it was disappearing up a hill while he was watching another car by mistake! Old model car racers tip, to win, first watch own car, grasshopper!!!!!!:woot: And I kicked his bum on the big (yellow) 400cc bike on the model car track. Top top laugh!

stampede vxlboy 07-10-2009 05:13 PM

stampede vxlboy 13-10-2009 07:32 PM

james are you racing trucks over the winter

b4 rules 13-10-2009 08:14 PM

i think so not sure

stampede vxlboy 25-10-2009 07:18 PM

james are you still racing buggy + trucks down there on a sunday or not and are you racing truck over the winter . or is it closed for the winter. and as the track got astro turf and something undercover with the bad weather over the winter

jameswilkinson7 25-10-2009 08:13 PM

At the moment there doesn't seem to be much interest in racing over the winter. How many people on here want a winter outdoor series? Trucks or Buggy's? We havent managed to get hold of any astro turf so the meetings would need to be held on days when the weather is reasonable. As for cover, fetch a gazebo!

stampede vxlboy 25-10-2009 08:45 PM

right then i will try and find a club that run over the winter i think batley does

Col 25-10-2009 10:18 PM

There are 3 meetings at batley and another 3 at RHR blythe as part of a series. The first was today at RHR and the rest are pre-book only I think.
Batley has struggled over recent years with attendance, but expect all these events to be busy.

stampede vxlboy 25-10-2009 10:22 PM

thanks col is it inside i the hall or outside i have never been there:lol:

Col 25-10-2009 10:25 PM

outdoor I think. It's in the news section, the RHR club section and the Batley club section.

stampede vxlboy 25-10-2009 10:28 PM

thanks col:thumbsup:
