Doubt it somehow, was expensive then so imagine cost now.

still waiting for mine. UPS made a *&^% up with delivery!!

Peakey 31-07-2017 09:18 AM

Talking to Robin and Cecil yesterday they were really happy and surprised at the support that it's had. I asked if it was going to be a limited run or not and Robin said they didn't have any intention with limiting the quantity so there should be a plentiful spares supply for years to come!

Retro RC 31-07-2017 10:49 AM

That's good news Justin  if I ever get mine out of ups' hands I'll be happy, bloody rip off merchants that they are:mad:

Come on guys. It's been a week already. Someone must have at least started a build that they can post some pictures.

I can't afford one of these babies so I need to live my life vicariously through those that can. :)

Here's mine, will do a shell of my own design on day.
Took longer than it should have as had to contact Schumacher 4 times due to parts issues. These were resolved quickly but still annoying

They might and they did tease the 834 some years ago but nothing, but you never know if they see the cat doing well

On mine the front anti roll bar was bent in a place it should have been straight, the finish of the eccentrics was really poor, I replaced these with the alloy ones which were really high quality.....apart from that no issues:thumbsup:

tahustvedt 05-08-2017 10:50 PM

I'd love to have one of these as a runner. My original Procat is too dear for me to drive it as much as I want.

Is the upgraded drive train set really necessary? What's the difference?

EDIT:
I read the manual. The upgrade seems to have a coarser belt and pulley pitch. Probably 3mm pitch.

help please!!!!!

Hi, eventually got my hands on my xls. Never built one before. All was going well upto step 19. Please can anyone help or offer some advice. Ive spent over an hour on this stage and no matter what I do cant get the front end assembled. The holes line up but as soon as I try assemble the side plastic parts (not the gear casing but the outer parts) everything gets thrown out of line and nothing assembles as it should. No idea what is going on!!!!

In the end I phoned Schumacher, and spoke to the technical department. They said the spur gear movement is normal.

As for the front end it's just a bit fiddly as you have to line up so many components at the same time.

Mine is a toatal pain, as soon as I line up ones side the other is way out. It might end up on feebay as an abandoned project at this rate!!

isobarik 13-08-2017 07:07 PM

LOTs of parts in the front end so is a bit fiddly.

It's almost the same as on my Procat. The front gearbox has steps on each side. The steps need to go under the step on each side piece. The gearbox can slide forward an backwards using these steps as guides, and the steps clamp down on the gearbox later on to hold it in position after pulling the belt tight.
