after 3 round of training Naoto is 10th
|
You can use the same hubs as on the B-Max4. On clay, I like the 1° hubs, on high-grip surfaces the kit 0° plastic hubs are ok. Unfortunately, the aluminum 0° hubs have small diameter inner and outer bearings, that's why I have not bought them yet.
Nice to finally see Ronald Völker with an off-road car, his colours look good on the MR next to Naoto's! ***breaking news - pro drivers take a look at a proper car for the first time in their lives*** :p |

Are those the kit shells?

Certainly looks like the kit shell.
Must say now I've seen them with paint on, I'm really liking them:thumbsup: |

Naoto took the last qualifier in 4WD!
To get back on topic: Naoto uses the aluminum 0° hubs on his MR as can be seen on the eos.redrc.net pics. By the way, there are some nice pics on Team Yokomo's facebook page. |

As there is "dedicated" pair of springs in the MR conversion kit, I wouldn't be surprised by that.
|
If I am not mistaken Naoto just won the second 2WD final and thus round 2 of the EOS in Langenfeld!
|
naoto won the 2wd drive with bmax2mr and finished second in 4wd with bmax4wn
good first time out for bmax2mr |
Yeah, really looking forward to converting my trusty B-Max2 when I return home in four weeks. According to Tonisport's facebook page, stuff will be available in Germany in time. :)

Set-up is supposed to be on petitrc, but link doesn't work yet. :(

60wt oil with blue springs in the front? :o Well, it seemed to work pretty good...
|
Does any one know the following
What size machines screws are used? I would like to pre tap some parts.. Also does anyone know the hinge pin diameter. So I can run a reamer through the wishbones. Also what springs will fit the shocks? |
M3 threads are used, and I guess hinge pins are 3 mm, too. Unfortunately I am a thousand miles away from my cars, so I can't measure them...
I only tried Yokomo springs so far, but as far as I heard Avid, AE and TLR big bore springs should also fit. |
If you are interesting by that, my friend "Sylvain" has open a blog
He has participate to the EOS last week-end. http://yokomo.blog.free.fr/ |

Look at the date. This was last year!!! :p:p |
Was there an EOS round 2 in Langenfeld last year?
Did the mid motor car exist like that last year? Did Naoto compete at it last year? Or is that date just a 'typo'? :eh?: |
Just a typo...
|
Finally a mid motor car I want to own, at a great price! I cannot wait to get mine next week!
|
The gear diff is a B-MAX RS parts...
