I did notice that, I turned a blind eye. infact, I was going to try and persuade him to hold the tranny properly first, and then next hide his marker-pen.

I know, I personally think they look terrible. That is why i prefer solid gleaming white wheels. :)

is grip achievable?

dan r 15-04-2008 08:07 PM

they do sometimes at bataly indoors quite fun very slippy

mattym0310 15-04-2008 08:08 PM

yes it is. I race on this surface [with carpet] every weekend

ashleyb4 15-04-2008 08:13 PM

Yea There is lots of grip to find and use on wooden floor with the right tyres and the right setup.

schumacher yellow minipin tyres, and shocks with, soft oil and mediumish springs, and the lowest ride height possible ?

Chrislong 15-04-2008 09:47 PM

Partially right.

Yellow Minipins or Minispikes.

But an outdoor setup with descent ride height will work very well. A car with low ride height will not pitch and so will force the tires to slide before the suspension moves. A car which lets the suspension move will get the most out of the available grip.... but ofcause there is a balance, too soft and it'll lean over like mad and bottom the chassis, camber change will be nuts and it will be trying to grip on the outer edge of the tires; too hard and the suspension won't move, it'll just slide like being too low.

Chris

ashleyb4 15-04-2008 09:51 PM

Yea its diffrent for each car its difficult to set a setup for all the cars they all handel diffrently.
