I can only see this being an advantage on low grip tight circuits. Otherwise all it is likely to do is make the car grip roll.

I think it's just a setup sheet. The key point is that he has removed the red o-rings from the top and side rear suspension links.

I've not got or built mine yet, but will do later this weekend. From what I understand, the car only starts to perform properly on a circuit with the o-rings removed.

here's a few pics of my Supastox
built it as per kit, apart from the rear springs, which i put one hole out, i just wasn't convinced by the idea of them right in the centre, suppose i should have tried it first, but oh well

gave it it's first run last night, and it was planted

was running it back to back with my dave to try and compare them, but my dave just wasn't handling well last night, couldn't find anything wrong with it, poss the tyres getting low, just didn't want to handle well
i guess it got the ump over me getting it's competitor lol

Superstox Body Shell

Slinga, Can you tell me what the body shell is and did you get it painted, If so by who?
Planning on getting one :wub of these as soon as the local club allows them to race against the Dave. (The're still deciding on G2 or 1s brushless setups) and Dave only at the mo

? Is that 'cos it frees up the movement of the rear pod and allows more roll to compensate for the lack of a diff? If not what's the reasoning behind this?

mark christopher 10-05-2012 08:49 PM

it allows the pod to keep level (both tyres on the track) with less roll resistance on the chassis, which in turn puts more weight on the outside front wheel

hey morpheus

the body is from kamtec models and is just known as the touring shell based on a speed 6

looks like schumacher sell them too... or a version that looks the same known as "SupaStox Touring Type M6" partnumber G894

as for the paint, i did it myself :)

morpheus2010 14-05-2012 10:17 AM

Nice paint job

Ta for the info, and I do like the paint job

Going to get a superstox for winter racing. Its a well engineered car at a good price.
