Hi Guys
I'm not 1 for speaking out of turn
we work very hard at cov prepareing 3 tracksfor little or no reward.

officially the grasstrack is closed till the end of april, if condition improve the decision will be made on saturday afternoon as to which track.
While i agree the astro track is challenging for 1/10th electric, we race other classes who want bigger and more jumps to challenge there skills (See Track 3 300mtrs long with 4ft high jumps etc)

There will be improvements to the astro track during the summer:thumbsup:.

if condition improve the decision will be made on saturday afternoon as to which track. bit late for those who need to buy tires for this event ?

im not having a go Mark and thanks for your response, just my obvservations

Don't think it really matters which track we race on. Both are good tracks and the tyre choice is the same for both.

Obviously the weather could play a part in how the day pans out, but I'm sure Mark and the Coventry team will put on a great meeting.

.

Is it Phil?? I thought ballistics work best on the Astro @ Cov and Schuy’s on the Grass ?

_sleigh_ 01-04-2008 02:18 PM

I was talking from a control tyre point of view.

Kopite 01-04-2008 02:20 PM

I think Sleigh's right Wraggy. If dry, yellow schueys for both tracks. If wet, ballistic green spikes for both tracks (possibly schuey greens).

Kopite 01-04-2008 02:21 PM

or TR32's......mmmmmmmmmm!!

Wraggy 01-04-2008 02:24 PM

i will keep quiet then ...

Kopite 01-04-2008 02:26 PM

if you know what's good for you, you will!!!

....kiss the guns:woot:
