Track has been laid but more needs doing to it in the morning. We have some school table and chairs avaliable to use for pitting, but they are not overly big - theyre the exam type jobbys. You can use these or move them out of the way for your own pit tables.

GP is an annual event.... this year was third success year we've run it. Last year was a bit disapointing because the meeting was well pre-booked, but then we got a lot of no shows.

This year the turn out was very good, only two or three no shows, but enough reserve drivers had turned up to take the places.

Hope to see everbody again next year.

MikePimlott 13-01-2008 07:44 PM

Excellent day, Big thanks to Club, it was excellent.
Well Done Matty, Fantastic driving mate.

And i have to agree, Tom's car touching the roof was Ace.

Mrs oOple 13-01-2008 08:37 PM

Big thanks to the organisers and track builders, it was a great event and i enjoyed driving the track, it was challenging but I could just about make it around :)

Also a big well done to the winners - Mat Dodd in 4wd, closely followed by Chris Long and Paul Rotheram, and Yardy in 2wd, followed by Matt Latham and Nick Oliver.

The wall of death and those jumps that followed it were great to watch, very dramatic :)

mattbrown 13-01-2008 09:09 PM

Cheers for the grate day lads!

Lost my v to buggy racing and came middle of the c so not to bad!

Is there only one anually? No chance of a summer/spring series?

And well done to tom for hitting the roof!

Maybe you could do a high jump comp at the end of the next one?

M.B.
