I actually love the vintage yokomo's.....superdogfighter, which has a similar design to the windows, and I did something like that to my bmax.

Too much red cordial Shy Boy!!

There is a tonne of room under the BingleBungle Body (:D) for cooling options. Best layout Ive found is to sit a 30mm fan under the front driveshaft (you need to have the 25mm battery kit fitted which raises the spur assembley slightly) and big mofo heatsink(s) on the motor (otherwise a 25mm fan fits under with plenty of room). If you use 5mm thick fans you can have it mounted on the heatsink no probs. I use 10mm thick fans and they would hit the body.:(
Front bumper is going to last a year! It's pretty heavy duty!!!:)
Rear wing sensational! But the stiff wingmounts on these DEX's keep punching through the wing!!! Is there a flexy mount to fit out there somewhere??

With using liquid mask, you have to cut them properly. As Bugle said, if you push too hard you score the plastic and it will break. Easy does it!!

Could you be bothered to post a pic of that?

Cheers

I'll take a pic tomorrow, should be good for a laugh, I think it will look strange with straight and wide sides, it would give alot of downforce though.

Canada

Heya Bugle!

The bodies arrived today, all the way to Canada! They look simply beautiful. Can't wait to build the car and mount this Bad Boy up! I think I can do a wrap for it without too much effort. I'll post some shots when it's done.

Many Thanks again!

Here's a few more of a clear undertray minus the bumper

I made the mould out of a block of wood and you can see some of the wood pattern in it on the bottom, everyone tells me it doesn't matter because after a run you can't tell the difference with the scratches on it.I guess painting hides it just fine too :)

X5 Addict and others i've seen have put extra holes in their ones at the front brace post screws to hold it on better, some thin double sided tape on the sides would hold it there alright too probably. ALso they've clamped the back of the undertray down under the brass weight. You wouldn't do this with the plastic skid plate though, best to leave the undertray overlapping that to avoid the skid plate getting ripped off.

thankyou

captainlip 23-02-2011 03:38 PM

Another Bugle body ready to race :).

brettness37 02-03-2011 01:17 AM

My girl just texted to let me know a package arrived from Australia.

Incredible! I believe they were posted 5 days ago!

Bugle 02-03-2011 11:50 AM

Damn that is quick, wish it was that quick the other direction!

Finally received the material for making more bumpers to everyone who wanted one, I should be able to get a load of bumpers made tomorrow.

Cool paintjob bostonnelson, first durango i've ever seen with an external antenna :)

BostonNelson 02-03-2011 12:07 PM

Did what I could with spray cans. Guess the external antenna shows I'm a newbie .

The chicks are gonna rape me now. With a 1:1 BMW and a 1:10 Bugle DEX410 one is pretty fly, for a white guy .
