All,

Just a reminder. It's doors open at 10am. We've a lot to get through tomorrow. So please arrive as promptly as possible.

The roads are clear so there should be no issues.

Hi Lads,

Just to say many thanks to one and all (you know who you are :D ) who organised todays racing. Had a great time racing and also got fed + got a prize, almost brings a tear to my eye

I'll hopefully have the video's of the races up on youtube tomorrow. It will take me a little while to edit the promo of the event. If lads are interested I might produce a DVD with the promo & all the races on it as a remembrance of the event?

Anyway once again thanks for a great days racing :thumbsup:

I'll echo the positive comments - not only a challenging track (I snapped a motor shaft clean off), but excellent hospitality and a great raffle!.
An excellent effort by the organisers.

Looking forward to tackling it again, there's plenty of room for improvement.

If you want any help with the editing of a promo give me a shout! I wouldnt mind getting a copy of the raw (or slightly compressed versions) so that I could have a play with them myself. I've wanted to make some r/c videos for ages!

Hi,

No problem. You will need to bring an external USB hard drive or a large USB Pen, there is 30GB of footage, can't email!!! or burn onto DVD or Bluray!

PM me when you are due down to the track again & I'll bring my laptop.

I had meant to bring a removable HDD down with me today but forgot all about it! I definitely want to get down to the track again and can give you a heads up if I can get down so you can bring the laptop.

On a side note; PHOTOS!

Good to hear that everyone enjoyed the event.
The club and helpers put in a lot of work before and on the day to make it all happen.

With the weather we had the last few weeks, there was someone looking after us for this meeting. I'm not 100% but I think that everyone who booked in raced the day. It was great to see so many new faces track-side as well as some seasoned (old) faces.

Does the award for the most distance travelled for the meeting go to Eoin O'Briain, who I believed came all the way from Holland, but for possibly more than this race meeting. I also think that today was Eoins, first electric buggy race.

If anyone has pictures from the day would they please send them on to the club.

I hope that everyone got home safe and sound.

MiCk B. :-)

Some great photos there.

You even got one where I looked prepared.

Don't know when that happened.

Photoshop mick ;)

Just looked up the distance I did 111 miles there and then the same back, and that was just for the racing :p

Anybody else think it looks like I've given Dave a 'This is SPARTA' style kick to the chest in this photo ?

Do you have the finals on you tube yet? if so what are they named as

Click 31-12-2010 06:24 PM

I got the finals results last night. I'm working on the finals as I type. I have over 30GB of material to deal with so the rendering times for everything I'm doing is quite long.

I'll get them done as quick as I can but there is a limit to the amount of time I can put into this :p
