Oh that's interesting so you can then have the lower bladder too then?
I'll keep my eyes peeled! Seems mk racing stock all the 4.1 bits besides the shocks at the moment!

Just for anyone who is interested and cannot find some of the new parts just yet.

I am building up and X6 Sq but using the B4.1 as a base car, I will therefore have all the usual parts not used on an X6 available for sale at less then RRP prices for anyone that is interested (from the steering servo back basically, plus some bits off the fornt end too and possibly the shocks as well - maybe). I will put a link up in the for sale section when it is done over the next few days for those who may be interested.

Shocks are on back order with CML, so I have not put them on the site yet, they are £40.99 per pair.

Just had the Yokomo big bores in  Bet Tony will be over in 10 mins to see if they fit his B44!!!!!

Pete, before ordering the chassis plate I would check it fits the old gearbox as it's shaped to key in with the new gearbox casing.

Thanks Gaz, I've got to use all my spares up first so that's way down the list for me! When are you back in Caldicot for me to take a look?

The gear over listed in the B4.1 manula says it's clear but it also says for a B$ not B4.1 and also please look at the link here. It could filter through like I said before but I think not on this. I think there will be a new part number for the crystal clear cover

Agreed.
(gear cover for me is just a nice to have so it's even on my list of things to get!)
TBH I was listing the part numbers for someone else who was asking for them.

RudeTony 05-08-2010 02:46 PM

For someone that asked at some stage - the car without any additions weighs in at 1475 all up and running but with RudeBits under Liipo and Under Speedo weighs and Ghea front bulkhead and PT all comes in at 1660g.
mmm!!!!! - I think it's too good to race though

Tony one quick question what weight of under servo weight do you and the team guys normally run?

I take it you just use longer bolts when using this weight?

Unsure what one to get!

Hi yah Mark

I personally use the 84g one. This is 1.5mm thick
Bradders uses the 50g or the 70g or the 84g. The 70g is just a fraction over 1mm thick and the 50g under1mm.
The majory use 70g.
The top lads have all of course and they change from one to the other and so on.
I though just leave it alone hence why i don't make A finals i suppose.
I would recomend the 70g and the screw don't need changing with any of them.
Don't screw them all the way home and just lock them in.
All in stock whatever you have

i hope all that made sence anyways !!!

ps - I use LRP batts and the 5900 is thicker than the 5300 and they both fit OK although tight !!

MHeadling 06-08-2010 11:02 AM

Thanks for the info Tony, I was after the weight of the Under Servo one you and the team use: on your site it shows: 36g or 72g version.

Yes 36g or 72g under SERVO.
There are 50g, 70g and 84g under LIPO
I get confused myself and send out the wrong items sometimes - it's an age thing you know

MHeadling 06-08-2010 11:24 AM

Thanks Tony, but what under servo weight is normally used??
