Need some more close up pictures of the back end mounts and chassis please!

You shouldnt need to do too much wiht the plastic hangers in terms of adjusting them with washers. The brackets are moulded to my standard geometry i ran last year, so prob only require the odd washer etc to suit you.

Does the new CAT provide enough room for today's high capacity lipo's?

My only real gripe about the SX is I have to be carefull chosing batteries that fit under the belt and pulley.

Cheers for the info.

Is the chassis different to the updated LIPO chassis that became avaliable on the Cat last year?

Is it worth selling the current car for the new Cat, or is it just the big bore shocks to really get?

Looking through the parts list on the Schumacher site it does look like a lot has been updated.

Can't see it changing on that front

What an exciting time for me to get back into R/C guys !!!

Was a bit costly discovering my old cougar 2000 in the loft & relighting the fire !

My CAT SX was the best car I ever had. Been missing it since I sold it so I will definitely be getting back into 1/10th with a new Cougar SV and a Cat SX2. And just in time for summer too

Tried to find some of the big bore shocks.. Schuy's out of stock, Apex and Modelsport doesn't recognise the part number.. :(

Anyone know where I can get some from?

Cheers

Ahh.. cool, just with it being in Schuy's site and having "out of stock" next to it, I just assumed I'd missed the first rush

schuey had only shock bodies/caps and bladder in their system marked as in stock - no pistons, shock rods and springs

I see a number of parts have become available. I have purchased the new wishbones :) for my Cat

would like to know what the fab thing is listed under transmission and on the exploded diagram.

Just would like the new shocks and hangers now please! :)

forgot to order the rear alloy hubs :(

It's an adjustable one way for the front layshaft.

Yup Mike showed me :)

It's like the XX4

MattW 08-03-2010 06:47 PM

Not technically, the xx4 is a clicker unit, the FAB is a one way roller bearing that you can adjust. The general feel is similar, but still a little different.

I know they are technically not the same, but the principal?

A few more parts for the SX 2 in stock and big bore pistons also now there.

Also noticed that they've got rounded pistons coming too.. Ooo..

mikeyscott 31-03-2010 11:56 AM

Anyone seen or heard anything further?

mikeyscott 18-04-2010 05:14 PM

Wonder if this will hit the shelves this week ?
