the EB posted on brca site that the black tab cells are BRCA legal from the time of the amendment in june, seems strange why efra are saying you can't use them, afterall isnt it the same person who checks them?

_sleigh_ 10-07-2007 02:54 PM

That number means nothing.. Don't the GP's have 4300 on the side and in small writing have "typcially 4100mAh" (not sure if it's GP, but one cell does)

BRCA and EFRA are different styles of organisation. EFRA have associated members that are manufacturers. http://www.efra.se/associate_members.html

That does seem strange as they are ok for the worlds

http://www.ifmar.org/pdf/ifmar_battery_list_2007.pdf

total confusion.

Also IFMAR requests " prepare one copy of the commerical documents showing that 50,000 cells are available AND the addresses of the shops which sell the batteries."

http://www.ifmar.org/pdf/electric/if...logform_07.pdf

are there any GP 4600 in the uk at a model shop for sale ? :wtf:

MattW 20-07-2007 07:27 PM

The EFRA list as origionally issued only ever said red cap was legal. As did BRCA, but BRCA then decided to allow both. EFRA didn't.

The GP 46 is a strange one. I haven't seen any in the UK, but i know they are for sale in main land europe. Defenetly available in Finland actually!!!

well we ended up in the bar last night so I didn't get chance to stick any photos up from yesterday the airport / track / city (hotel) are all really close together which is cool. Free internet in the hotel too, yay.

So what you doing now?

jimmy 21-07-2007 08:57 AM

It's mid day and I just woke up :eh?: we have to move out of our room - in fact we all do, since they didn't have the proper rooms available as we are all a day earlier than we should be (flights changed)

Then we're gonna have a look around vaasa I think. There's not much point going to the track again since it's just a building site - they are getting everything ready still, looks like a heck of a lot of work. They have three big plasma screens, two for the 'circus tent' pitting area and one for outside on the wall I think. The rostrum is fantastic, it's massive.

The track was wet yesterday and it's predicted to rain ALL week next week. Today it's really nice though.

I got a few photos so I'll stick those up later.

Hello jimmy and vicky :) hope you have a nice time.

We MIGHT get lucky with weather in Vaasa. Currently forecast shows cloudy but no rain... Lets hope it stays like that. Mudwrestiling with buggies is definately not my thing...

Here is link for good forecast page:

I think i need to pack more clothes before i leave. Looks quite cold even for finnish summer.

jimmy 21-07-2007 01:18 PM

I really hope it's nice - its a lovely day today.

Are there any live results going to happen?

k£v!n 21-07-2007 01:46 PM

Nice read Jimmy, the track looks great

ashleyb4 21-07-2007 02:03 PM

I went on one of those planes jimmy there ace it was the first plane i ever went on. And it was quiet scary to look out the window and find ourselves plowing down the run way with only one propellor turning. But it was a nice flight.

We are watching TV and it has just said that on 27/07/07 is national sleepy head day in Finland and the last person to wake up in the house gets thrown in the nearest lake or sea.
