- use the front wheel hex hubs from the B44, otherwise the wheel will bind. Losi front wheels work fine.

- dremel the arm or bulkhead, leave the gearbox alone!

thanks
aren't the losi wheels say from the xxxcr thinner than the normal 4wd front wheels?

Sorry, I meant 4wd Losi fronts.

Isn't it B4 front and rear arms not the B44??

What are the better choice the FT ones or the others?

super__dan 01-08-2011 11:38 AM

B4 are different on the front, the newest rear arms are identical.

In the old days I would say 100% plastic, the 'new' plastic is really very flexible. Very safe but can twist and warp. Graphite ones are precise but brittle.

how about shells? do the b44 or b44.1 fit?

OneKiwi 08-08-2011 05:32 AM

The one-way commonly used in the BJ4 is the HD one-way from the NTC3. The outdrives for that are NOT plastic (nor, do I think, are any one-way outdrives).

sorry ment the outdrive to the center drive train (long dog bone) from the out drive on the front diff

called the drive cup its in plastic and would be good to get it in steel/alu

The plastic input cup is from a TC3/4, AE part number 3917 :)

OneKiwi 08-08-2011 10:33 AM

Many thanks
So its from a one way, if I don't want to use the one way, do I still use it even with a normal diff?

Richard Lowe 08-08-2011 11:07 AM

I'm a bit confused here, are you saying you have a one way diff in the front or a normal diff?

Either way the plastic input cup is the same, it's a different part if you are using the centre one way - though that would be blue alloy already and you say yours is plastic.

OneKiwi 08-08-2011 12:22 PM

I have a one-way in the front and thought at the start that those drive cups were part of the one way system.
Now I see that they aren't.
I am looking at swaping out my one way to a normal diff sorry for being vauge

Thanks for the help.
I have ordered the parts I need plus a diff so the one way is here if anyone wants one
