Not saying that's gospel Lion-O, just that I think they could be different.

I'll maybe have to buy some for mine, they've never been changed :woot:

Garry - contrary to what's been said previously in this thread about clutch parts the Losi is different to most other cars.

Remember - don't trust anything you see or read on here - it's mostly a load of old crap - just ask Jimmy.

I knew it!

Garry, Answer-RC (Pete) do dedicated Losi clutch shoes for the Losi, and bearing kits ;)

That is good advice. I have both these - they are good - better than the standard Losi items.

Wow - this thread moves fast.

Actually she's normal - strange eh.

Yeah - although I was more referring to a previous comment about shoes - thet are definately very different.

Evolution needs to be interspersed with revolution.

Who said that – apart from me just now?

bigred5765 12-12-2008 05:05 PM

some boff,

So what do these bits do? :eh?:

G

Stu 12-12-2008 05:20 PM

Nowt you'll notice.

Northy 12-12-2008 05:24 PM

But I don't even know where they go or what they do? :woot:

G

Stu 12-12-2008 05:26 PM

You don't need to either.

It will still be a big-dumb 8th even with them bits in place.

I’m not a bearing freak or have some kind of fetish but it just struck me as not a very accurate statement :eh?:

Yip i just class clutch bearings as the most disposable items on an 8th car. They cost £1 each so i choose to change them often. Im pretty sure im not alone on this. There are also different grades of bearings and ive seen some of the chinese ones collapse in less than a days racing !
Jimmi......

Northy 12-12-2008 07:36 PM

Jimmi, can you tell me what the ali bits do on an 8ight 2.0?

G

jimmiprice 12-12-2008 07:39 PM

The ali bits are the shims you use to adjust the front camber link length on the 2.0, you get them with the kit so unless you lose them you wont need them. Have you bought one a 8ight 2.0?
jimmi.....
