And the fact that its the only chance ill get to see Rasey, Showtime, Drescher, Pidge, etc etc till god knows when next year :(

Ashley 23-10-2008 10:05 AM

as this winter is so cold:o

c0sie 23-10-2008 10:35 AM

If you have a little search around this forum you'll find details of last years event which people havent stopped talking about since!

The Newbury club are a great bunch of friendly guys and the MK GP is sure to be as good. if not better, than last year :)

Ashley 23-10-2008 11:03 AM

cheers for the info fella

hope your on the mend from spinal op
so you can race

MHeadling 23-10-2008 12:11 PM

Im in! Just booked into 2wd on the sat! I better get some practice in not that it will make much difference!

c0sie 23-10-2008 12:19 PM

Ill be better by the race date. Bill is driving me there as I cant drive till December-ish but I should be ok as long as im sensible at the meeting and dont doing anything silly like the 'truffle-shuffle' :)

showtime 23-10-2008 05:12 PM

i'd say it will be better than last year as the jumps have all evolved to be better for the cars (ie the springy long landing after the big tabletop), the track layouts are always good plus with the 2 days its just a bigger meeting all round

Cris i think if you can gather enough support & pester hard enough you might even get a micro race too ;)

glypo 23-10-2008 05:16 PM

Both my brother and I would enter Micro if it was run on the sunday.

Smartalec 23-10-2008 05:33 PM

I'd be up for a bit of Micro-ing on the Sunday too :D

frogger 23-10-2008 05:34 PM

mobile chicane 23-10-2008 05:42 PM

rob8246 23-10-2008 10:29 PM

Sorry lads no micro's this year as time will not allow but that does not stop you from doing a bit during the lunch break :D

Just want to see comedy barnets insane blaze again

frogger 23-10-2008 10:41 PM

Cool, I'll be doing a bit of showboating the micro during lunch time

mobile chicane 24-10-2008 07:37 AM

I best get my micro sorted as wel then :)

c0sie 24-10-2008 07:40 AM

Lunchtime micro bashing is always a good form of promotion lol

I remember last years spring board landing ramp Showtime lol! After jumping 8ft in the air and slamming down onto that ramp, the noise was hilarious and seeing your Pred gliding through the air like a flying squirrel lol

remember when knighter jumped his b44 so high it clipped the netting :)

I swear that table top slows down time hollywood style so when you jump your car over it it just hangs in the air for a couple of seconds looking cool then goes back to normal speed lands on a marshal ( normaly tris ) and breaks the one part you dont have :D

I wonder what the world record for an electric rc car jump is.

( wanders off to put a 3.5, silly lipo and some " disposable" radio gear in a b4 then starts to calculate the gearing for a terminal speed of 50mph )

new rc car class : extreeeeeeme buggy jumping.

quick buggy + silly ramps + an old matress or 2 + video camera + some decent tunes :woot::woot::woot:
