Good days racing by all. I think I was the only driver running both classes (I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong!)

2wd
Qual 2nd Finished 3rd. Qualified with 4 2's behind Ste Lawson, can't really complain, was never on his pace but seemed to be ahead of others. Alex Hillman beat me in the final as well. It appears that the slipper went in the final, was getting no responce from the car and it was moving all over the place.

4wd
Qual 4th Finished 5th. Was good to get the CAT outdoors, so much more fun than indoor racing (no offence to Worksop or Bury Metro!) Felt like I could throw the car at the track and with a bit more time to spare then I probably could have gone faster by improving the car.

All in all a good day, run well by Stu, Paul & Tony.

Shame about the guys who had some of their kit stolen, I hope that all the efforts from the club pay off and you get your gear back. I've never known any issues running at Kiddy before and I've been going there for the last 10 years at least

I was running both classes Andrew it was a bit of a rush and I couldnt concentrate on one car. It felt so good to be out in the open air doing proper racing. First time outdoor with the car I won at Bury (B max) on a very slippery track it was excellent would have got into the A I think if it wasnt for two costly mistakes in the last two rounds whick took the marshalls over ten seconds to get to me (understandable as the track was very slippy to marshall on).
The 2WD was another story I dont think the X6 is anywhere near as good with Lipo than it is with NIMH but that might be my setup which needs sorting. I noticed today that the rear engined cars where handling the greasy conditions alot better than the mid motor cars(X6s). Well thanks to the Kiddy club for a good meeting and I hope the missing eqiupment turns up and thanks Brian P for the help with the speedo.

An excellent meeting and run spot on as always!

I really enjoyed the track layout and it was just the challenge I wanted with a 2wd car ...... a great day!!

Is there anyway of telling if this will be held this weekend cos according to the weather it is not good at all with heavy rain - Any chance that we could know on Saturday night or delay Sunday until later so we dont have to get down there to find its a wash out again. Problem I have is that it takes me 2 hours to get there which is alot of petrol and time to find out its off.

If I hear anything prior to the event regarding cancellation I will of course let everyone know. On the day if you have my mobile num feel free to call, I'll be up early, I live aprox. an hour away myself mind you but I can give you a rough indication of what the weather is like.
