Welcome to the wonderful world of *Ashley* :p
Does everyone use addative at garforth then ? |
LRP Blue Factor on VTEC24R's, this seems the popular choice
|
yep, I second that;)
|
I have some Nosram vtec 24r's, I'm guessing those are the same tyres ?
|
There's racing at Garforth this Saturday (7th October).
Don't miss out! |

Yep jimmy. Me and Mr Brogan will be in attendance, and likely will dominate the meeting :)
Mr Brogan has dusted the cobwebs from his old Xray and it's reported to be in excellent condition, he's even spent a few bob at bally's shop ! Everything else will be supplied by his main sponsor.... me ! I'll be sporting my T2R and hoping I don't break it first run. Looking forward to it Jimmy. |

Andy will always be a pro to me. You'll all be praising his name this time saturday! ;)

LMFHO.
Nice one Jimmy. I think 'Old Pro' is more appropriate ! Tickled me pink that did, bed time know I reckon. |

Cs22's just have evil and not very good inserts for rug racing..... oooh, one-way up front, shinny screws and lots of power... just trying to be random... |
Welll, I will try to set-up my T2, and I'll bring my D50 too, maybe Jimmy can get me THE settings for indoor at a sports hall? I cant work the damn settings out LOL

I have to say I used to prefer touring cars because of the easy close racing, I think you need to be at a decent level of racing before you can get the same close racing thrill with off road - which is ultimately more satisfying I think.
Still don't have a touring car sorted. :( |
Finally sorted and painted the T2R, so will be at GTCC tonight with it. not sure if Mr Brogan can make it though, also far from sure that the setup is ok, downstops, anti dive ?, all means nothign to me.
One thing that does seem wrong is the front end is way softer than the rear (shocker / damping wise) is this right ? I've put in 30wt all round as per the setup sheet, but i've ended up using 2 holes on the pistons rather then the 3 recommended as it just felt way too lightly damped ? I'm sure I remember you run softer on the back, harder on the front ? The kit springs are gold on the rear, silver on the front, are the golds harder ? Any help appreciated as I don't want to spend the evening pratting about with it. Ta. Andy. |
